hammerva Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Wow Bryce Ford Wheaton is still in the NFL. Hate to see Mountaineer on Mountaineer crime but oh well

Brian Fowler Posted October 7 Posted October 7 At one point does the NFL call this and reschedule for tomorrow night or something?
Brian Fowler Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Ope looks like it finally kicks off in 25 minutes. Jesus this game gonna go late.
BloodyChamp Posted October 7 Posted October 7 It’s been a while since this has happened, but I remember it happening more than once - a game going late and Cris Collinsworth getting groggy, and by extension worse than he already is. His turd gurgling voice even somehow becomes more slimy. 1
BloodyChamp Posted October 7 Posted October 7 If Bill Parcels were here I’m confident that he would say you might not be as good as your record. That’s dang sure what I have to say after this week of football.
Cobra Commander Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I want the QHs for this game because certainly some people bailed out on this one as it got deep into the night
BloodyChamp Posted October 7 Posted October 7 That was alltime stupid not just handing the ball off after the first down that got the Cowboys down there. Not handing the ball to Lynch level stupid. All calling a timeout did was give the Steelers a chance to catch their breath and the Cowboys a chance to overthink it, and those things both happened. The Steelers kept Dak out and almost made him fumble, then kept the RB and did make him fumble. They did that easily enough because at that point they snubbed the call. Had they just ran it like that to start with the game would have been over. Obviously the Cowboys did still score on 4th down but dang. And Cris called that perfect.
hammerva Posted October 7 Posted October 7 The Cowboys should have won that game by at least 20 but once they hit the 30 the level of incompetence was staggering. Oh well pretty much everyone knew that the Steelers were a 6-6 or 7-7 team fighting to make the playoffs so everything is falling in place for a Tomlin team
Lawful Metal Posted October 7 Posted October 7 So, um, the Texans despite leading the league in penalties and have a -12 point differential are the #2 seed in the AFC. Nico Collins is week to week on a bad hammy. Mixon still out forever apparently. Still no LB Christian Harris or DL Denico Autry. I have no idea what's happening. I have no idea what to do with my hands.
BloodyChamp Posted October 8 Posted October 8 (edited) Aaron Rodgers threw an INT that wasn’t a rocket prayer on the last drive of the game. So did Brock Purdy. Lamar Jackson dropped the snap in OT. Josh Allen had 9 completions. The Cowboys won a close SNF game. Everybody is making the biggest deal out whichever of those things they’re happiest about today. If you look at everything else that happened, which I know is hard for some people , you realize maybe don’t put too much stock into what happened yesterday. It wasn’t all unique but so much of it was and it won’t happen every week, especially not to everybody wtf. Edited October 8 by BloodyChamp

I'm happiest about Rodgers being terrible and the Watson contract/trade continuing to be one of the worst in NFL history. Those are the important things. 2 3
BloodyChamp Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I certainly understand the importance hee hee. If things stay consistent the Cowboys will beat the 49ers on SNF in a few weeks sooooo yeah lol! 1
Contentious C Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Watching KC makes me understand how everyone else felt while NE controlled the conversation for almost 20 years. I can't stand these guys. 3
