Curt McGirt Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Colman is a dead ringer for that role. They had photos of him and Cole next to each other on the Today show and it's almost eerie.

Curt McGirt Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 For a second I thought Paul Rudd was Ryan Reynolds. My internal dialogue said "That's Paul Rudd, not... Goober Snakepants." So from now on, Ryan Reynolds is gonna be Goober Snakepants to me. Don't ask me why that came out, because I don't have an answer. Mr. Reynolds would probably dig it, though. At least Deadpool would.
RIPPA Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare Director: Guy Ritchie Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, with Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes Trailer is NSFW due to light gore which is mainly a lot of dudes getting their throats sliced 2

Curt McGirt Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Holy shit, a photo finally posted for me instead of a link! Of course, it happens to be so enormous I have to stick it in a spoiler. Spoiler 2
COLETTI Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 I sincerely hope that movie is incredible, but I don't see it ever living up to expectations 3
RIPPA Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Random things Brad Pitt is joining the cast of The Movie Critic (the movie that is supposedly Quentin Tarantino's last movie) Tim Burton is slated to direct a "reimagining" of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman which is being written by Gillian Flynn
Curt McGirt Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Re: The Movie Critic. Quentin says it's about a vulgar, invective spewing (including racial slurs of course) movie critic that worked for pornographers, but the main guy playing him isn't Pitt and is instead someone he hasn't used before. So, Brad Pitt gets to be the lead on the posters at least? I guess he didn't have Pitt as the lead in his last one either but that's because Leonardo frickin DeCaprio was the lead. And honestly he wasn't the lead in Basterds either, but that was an ensemble film.
Dolfan in NYC Posted February 2, 2024 Author Posted February 2, 2024 Bunch of people are thinking Shadow will be the main antagonist in this movie and will be voiced by Hayden Christensen

It’s still wild to me that one of the greatest young characters actors working right now is also simultaneously a part-time hand for Pro Wrestling Revolver. 1
Curt McGirt Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 He was on fuckin' Colbert the other night! I remembered him from I, Tonya which was a great role. Of course, I just rolled my eyes when they showed him wrestling -- OF COURSE they would show some dude who looks like he's gonna be an actor I am really gonna like being a wrestler too. 1
RIPPA Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Bunch of Disney related release dates (that aren't covered in their own threads) Moana 2 - November 27, 2024 Zootopia 2 - November 26, 2025 Toy Story 5 and Frozen 3 were both announced as just releasing in "2026" It should be noted that Moana 2 is currently scheduled to open on the same exact date as Wicked: Part One
(BP) Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 They’ve finally disappeared so far up their own asses that they have a sequel to a movie in post-production and a remake of the same movie in pre-production.
Dolfan in NYC Posted February 8, 2024 Author Posted February 8, 2024 Frankly, I'm astonished there wasn't a Cars 4 (or whatever they're up to) in there. Anyway here's the first look at Moana 2 Notably, Lin Manuel Miranda is *not* involved with this movie. And it's apparently taken from the scraps of the never-completed TV show. AND it's opening against Wicked Part 1... which really leads me to believe Disney thinks this one is a stinker and is trying to bury it without actually burying it.
Dolfan in NYC Posted February 8, 2024 Author Posted February 8, 2024 And since I'm feeling a certain way right now. MINIONS 6 (aka DESPICABLE ME 4) Starring Steve Carrell, Kristen Wiig, Sofia Vergara, and Will Ferrell Opens July 3rd.

MINIONS 6 (aka DESPICABLE ME 4) Starring Steve Carrell, Kristen Wiig, Sofia Vergara, and Will Ferrell Opens July 3rd. We went to see the last Minions movie at the drive-in (I think it was a double feature with Thor 4). My daughter and I decided to get snacks about 15 minutes in. The line was so long, we missed like the next 45 minutes of the movie. Later, my son had it on at home and we agreed that standing in line for snacks was definitely preferable to actually watching that movie.
Contentious C Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 I'm proud to have seen none of them. Even with my scattershot-at-best tastes and viewing habits, I see no need to change that.
Curt McGirt Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Last night there were trailers for... let me see... Monkey Man (looks stupid; on the bright side, maybe there won't be Bollywood song-and-dance interludes?), Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (pure fan service that everyone will enjoy) and Furiosa (looks awesome).
