He’s poped up on dark a time a two … a grown man thinking he’s a Boy Scout is particularly creepy given why BSA went bankrupt

@Matt D sometimes I feel I have a bit of a different appreciation for talent and wrestling than Toney K. Do wish we could get a few more shorter matches so some of these people could get tv win , but that’s unlikely to happen

They kind of killed my idea at the end, but when Taya gave Leila the move I thought she just do this to her every single week until the ppv, in different scenarios. $$$

I continue to think that Orange Cassidy should call out Jungle Boy as the 4th pillar.

Orange Cassidy just won at the NJPW show with the same flash pin all the pillars won with in the past couple weeks

Hmm

Honestly I think Yuta and Garcia have moved past Jungle Boy as a pillar

I think they're definitely presented as being more important than him.

I kind of think the "pillar" stuff hurt Jungle Boy in a way. I don't think he's ready for that. I think he has the potential to get there, but it's not there now. I think him being put into that group maybe made them think they had to do more with him now. I think he's a guy that would benefit working up the card. Maybe get the TNT title for a little bit. He doesn't need to be in the world title picture yet, IMO.

Big ass number for this Rampage. Almost like Jungle Boy is drawing. You know who wasn’t on this show? Human eyeball repellant Adam Cole…

Jungle Jack was a very likeable and natural underdog babyface to begin. While having fun matches there was generally good likelyhood he would eat the fall during that first period. He progressed further with standout bouts against Max and Omega amongst others. He also went from silent to competent talker. I didn't say great, but definitely he progressed and certainly he became competent. The tag title run with Luchasaurus and partnering with Christian wasn't blowaway, but it was really good (anybody remember that great battle royal finish that won him his title shot?). He and Luchasaurus as a team consistently had really good bouts. The fallout of that trio was hampered terribly by Christian's injury, but what they did do was pretty excellent. The bout vs. Luchasaurus here in Toronto was really good, and the blowoff with Christian was a lot of fun. That match seems sorta forgotten on that notable multi-excellent match pay per view show. In the last year he's been transitioning from the natural underdog Jungle Boy to a more mature babyface. He's found a place on the card where he's more likely to win than lose. That means he's no longer always the underdog. It's his puberty-like awkward phase where he's finding himself, but it's hard to complain when his matches continue to be consistently really good. I'm feeling like a switch to the Darkside might be inevitable and necessary to freshen things up. But... all that said, he's 25 years old, clearly full of talent, and has made incredible developments in a very fast 4 years. I think I'll choose patience with young Jack Perry and let the chips fall where they may.
