DragonZombie Posted January 22, 2022 Author Posted January 22, 2022 Nakajima (c) vs Fujita is next for the GHC HW. Anyway Nakajima's training background is a bigger deal than Kenoh's hence the upper slot in the hierarchy. I doubt Fujita wins but who knows!?! Ahahhahahaa. Kaito pinned Go and Super Crazy days ago in two singles matches. He is facing other men in the future in more singles matches, so some rebuilding.
DragonZombie Posted January 22, 2022 Author Posted January 22, 2022 (edited) AJPW: Soon we will find out who is the new Triple Crown champ and the protagonist of the 50th memorial year. Abby Jr seems to have the next challenge rights. But someone else could decide to challenge instead. Edited January 22, 2022 by D.Z
DragonZombie Posted January 23, 2022 Author Posted January 23, 2022 (edited) Okada is now the face of the professional wrestling world. His style is now labeled as "Okada style", which is a further evolution of the Strong Style. He was retrained in the NJPW dojo. When Okada entered the dojo of NJPW, the mainstream teaching was "Don't show pain." But Okada prefers to show emotions, It's a lesson from his own teacher, Ultimo Dragon. His Toryumon background showcases aesthetics. Okada hopes to get closer to Mr. Pro-Wrestling or Tenryu, by attacking and defending with intense techniques that convey pain. DragonZombie Posted January 23, 2022 Author Posted January 23, 2022 (edited) There was the continuation of shorter matches for that AJPW show. And the All Asia tags match was full of hijinxes. Kento is now tied with Kawada and Misawa as 5 times Triple Crown champ. Only Suwama has more runs as Triple Crown Champion at 7. Abby came down and promoed on about the Royal Road. But Kento in the end prefers to move on with "Pro Wrestling". Both will face each other for "title unification". Edited January 23, 2022 by D.Z

DragonZombie Posted January 24, 2022 Author Posted January 24, 2022 (edited) NOAH: Unless there are revivals this year, seems NOAH done away with every other Global League tourney of old. Anyway helps avoid having to bring up last decades booking for NOAH with those inactive. So just N1 Victory and the U Cup. AJPW: AJPW decided to ignore Abbys unification. Not related but I will be moving away again from posting at least the kayfabey stuff Tokyo Sports sometimes post for AJPW. I don't bother with the Stardom stuff they make up for Utami and Tam. DragonZombie Posted January 28, 2022 Author Posted January 28, 2022 (edited) We will have to see what NJPW will do with Kota, probably Okada vs Kota at the 50th show. But Naito could still win before that.. While Okada is the Strongest in NJPW and the "face" of Japan pro wrestling, Kota seems to be the guy to replace Tana with. NJPW has the Strongest above the Ace in this day and age. For AJPW, Jake Lee probably will face and pin Kento at the Budokan show to firmly put him above Kento as the primary Ace. Suwama still holds on the Strongest role. Tajiri doesn't seem to care about having just one Ace. Pretty WWE-ish. NOAH, Kaito is the Ace, even if he isn't winning belts or has a hard time pinning bigger names right now. Masa Funaki is considered the Strongest now, now that he beat Kenoh. In Japan.. there's the Ace, the Strongest, the Rival and more. For Joshi the "Trueheart" role also exists. Also lot of promotions aren't consistent with those terms I've mentioned and who's above who. I seen Pillars, Kings, Strongs, Heroes, Musketeers etc for naming the top people with and below the top guy. Most promotions use or used something different or nothing to describe and group their top guys. Generation groupings also exist. Edited January 28, 2022 by Blue Dragon
