Big Fresh
See, that's kinda my issue with getting to a theater to see this. I have no doubt it's gonna be great. But it looks like a really challenging watch.
Jrag
You pretty much have to see it in theaters, bro! It's probably the most visually stunning film I've ever seen. I'm not sure it would be the same on the small screen.
Craig H
My wife and I are going tomorrow. I'm fucking stoked. Not sure if I should have wine before or after the movie, though.
Swift
Just back from it. Amazing film, and definitely needs to be seen in IMAX 3D. Just stunning. Incredibly tense. Usually, I'm shifting in my seat, crossing my left leg over my right, crossing my right over my left and so on. For this? Feet planted firmly on the ground, and did not move at all for the entire film. Didn't eat a thing, didn't take a sip of water. Left with a bit of a headache from a combination of the 3D glasses and a subconsciously clenched jaw. But man was it worth it. Bullock definitely deserves to win an Oscar for this.
The Natural
I wish the UK didn't have to wait till early November for this. Stupid. Boooooo. Never seen a film in IMAX 3D. Do they give you the glasses when you get your ticket or in the room itself?
Jrag
At my theater you get the glasses when you purchase a ticket and then there is place to recycle them when the movie is over. It will be worth the wait, Natural!

Fat Spanish Waiter
Feel sick for so many reasons. Absolute must see in 3D.
Ligerbusa
I'm still not sure what this movie is. There's got to be more to it than Sandra Bullock floating in space for two hours, right?
Fat Spanish Waiter
If only there was some way of finding out what the rest of the movie is!

Actually there's less to it than that, because it's only 90 minutes long
Ligerbusa
If only there was some way of finding out what the rest of the movie is! The commercials aren't telling me and I'm not reading reviews or spoilers. So there.

Ligerbusa
I dunno, sounds like I might shit my pants. I'll probably wait for the Bul Ray. I'm going to assume the story is about her keeping the shuttle above a certain limit or Dennis Hopper will blow it up.
Fat Spanish Waiter
No. Watch it in 3D.
Jrag
There is pretty much no excuse to miss this in 3D. No excuse. I'm going to assume you haven't seen Children of Men, otherwise there is no way we would need to talk you into this. Alfonso Cuaron is a genius. Ligerbusa
I've had Children of Men forever on DVD but I haven't seen it yet. But that's got nothing to do with it. I'm all jumpy at the movies.

S.K.o.S.
But that's got nothing to do with it. I'm all jumpy at the movies. It's not like that. Not jump scares. It's more like cliffhanger kind of stuff.

TheVileOne
The opening shot of the movie that goes on unbroken for about 15-20 minutes was pretty impressive. You almost never see that anymore.
Craig H
Fucking amazing. One of the best movies I've ever seen. Felt way longer than 90 minutes and at the end of it, all my wife and I could do was laugh awkwardly feeling like we made it through some life and death kind of shit. Just an incredible movie. And having a daughter, my wife and I both bawled each time Sarah was referenced. This was as close to a perfect movie as I'll ever see. I want to cry just typing about it.
