Death From Above Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Today is the first, but not last, day of the year making fun of the Vancouver Canucks becomes "official". Also, unrelated:
sabremike Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 But did she eventually give him the cocaine as he requested?
sabremike Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Blues-Pens and Flyers-Sharks tonight on NBCSN. Jets-Leafs and Flames-Oilers also tonight (assuming those are national telecasts in Canada, Center Ice in the US).

Both games in Canada are national telecasts, thus the terrible 6 pm local start time for the Jets on a weeknight.
sabremike Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 First game for me is Saturday as my Sabres make their lone visit to Brooklyn, then I have the Columbus Day Blues-Isles matinee on Monday. The Isles are doing a program where they give STH's credit we can use to either get upgrades or buy additional tickets. I got like $600 in credit so I can get roughly 25 extra tickets in my section this season.
sabremike Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 A guy on the Leafs got a penalty for an incorrect visor. Said player is grandfathered in and does not have to wear a visor, but because he had one that was incorrect he got a penalty. Never change NHL.
Dewar Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 He got a penalty for how he wears his visor in the pre-season as well, plus a warning from the officials on his first shift.
Death From Above Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 A Leafs player literally getting a penalty for not being able to dress himself without adult supervision is a very good omen. 1
sabremike Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Do Maurice and that imbicele of a GM make it to the end of the season? Yeah, the thought of Leafs fans being even more insufferable than they already are fills me with hate.

Serious Darius Bagfelt Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 It's illegal because he angles it upwards. It almost sticks straight out. 1
RIPPA Posted October 5, 2017 Author Posted October 5, 2017 1st video is the game footage 2nd video is Sportsnet explaining what happened 1
sabremike Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 The population of Pominville goes up by one!!!! Welcome home!
Death From Above Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Nobody told the Penguins their season started tonight I guess? What the hell was that.
RIPPA Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 That makes me feel better about the stupid Rangers
RIPPA Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 Nathan Walker is scheduled to play for the Caps tomorrow If he does - he will become the first Australian to play in the NHL
sabremike Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Ovie has 6 goals in a little over 4 periods of play.
