I'm in the same boat, I put Wonder Woman waaayyyy too low and All Eyez on Me far too high. But Emoji movie dead last and it's up to 25 reviews and still at 0% so that's looking good for many of us.

10 people put it dead last on their RT list.  Only 3 people put it higher than 12th.

Damn.  I expected it to be shitty but not shittier than shitty Baywatch.

Ended up seeing Valerian again with one of my kids.

I am developing the kind of irrational hatred for that movie that I usually reserve for Sean Hannitty and people who take too long at the mini-mart checkout agonizing over which cigarettes and lotto tickets to buy.

Emoji movie has one positive review (3%). It's from a lady from "Common Sense Media" who gave it a 3 out of 5 for "positive messages"

I saw that TJ Miller discussed the "feminist agenda" in the film.

How do you even fuck up the pandering part? You would think that's the easiest part since it's a film designed 100% to pander to people.

I haven't watched NASCAR and Formula 1 regularly in almost a decade, but I feel like the car in the lead and there was a big crash causing a bunch of caution laps. Now I have to make a decision on whether or not I need to make a pit stop with four laps to go before the race goes back to green.

The finish line is in sight, but something stupid might send me to the back.

Emoji movie bombing with the critics. Excellent news.

When I ranked it, I thought it would either completely bomb with the critics or be a surprise hit with them. No in-between. I went the predictable route. Emoji movie and Atomic Blonde are the two last big gambles on my lists so I'm feeling okay about them. This year might come down to the tiebreaker though, which I bombed this year. I had DM 3 at 200 million then edited down to 150 million. Ouch.

The small-scale achievements in this film are a model worthy of admiration; In terms of the balance that can be achieved between creativity and commercialization in a production that seeks to generate family entertainment. [Full review in Spanish] -

This person clearly had a deadline and said fuck it.

Positive messages, but colorful adventure is only "meh." 3/5

While I understand that Emoji Movie is supposed to be very bad... it was a wide release playing in thousands of theaters, stars a lot of familiar names, people seem to be talking about it (about how bad it is, but still), it was even the #1 movie at the box office on Friday, and it's only got 40 reviews on RT right now.  I'm not complaining, but it's a bit strange.

It's an animated movie and it's a brand new concept, so it's only going to perform but so poorly.

It's not like parents are suffering through yet another Ice Age movie.

The weather here in MD was shit and there were a lot of people taking their kids to the movies just to get out of the house, so there went the box office that Atomic Blonde might've earned.

Dark Tower opens in less than 48 hours

Doesn't have any reviews yet

Oops...

I forget where I saw it, but I read an article that said that Sony was so unhappy with the test screenings that they almost fired Nikolaj Arcel on the spot.

Knowing that Sony spent $6 million on reshoots does not give me confidence about the quality of this thing.

The short runtime may end up being more blessing than curse.

I'm glad to hear signs point to Dark Tower not being good, but I have it dead last on my RT list, which is a very tough sell at this point.  I mean it could get 20% and there would still be 5 movies that did worse.
