Men of Mayhem - Sons of Anarchy Thread

Recommended Posts

I wonder what order they'd bat in if the Sons of Anarchy fielded a cricket XI?Jax and Bobby open the batting? Chibbs at first drop, Tig kinda reminds me of Mark Waugh so he'd be 4, Happy at 5, Juice at 6, that Rat Boy at 7, Clay at 8, Jimmy Smits at 9, that old bloke who used to be sheriff at 10, and then either the guy with no hands or one of the hookers at 11?Fuck Im glad that fat **** with the glasses got shot. I wouldn't play him at all. He looks like a right fat ****.

The Nero in jail storyline seems like it will be a waste of time. They have the murder weapon and way more evidence against Toric than some lame DNA in Nero's truck.

Not sure I follow.  I think the deal is Pounder knows it was Toric, not Nero, but she's using what Toric gave them (DNA) to put pressure on Nero to turn him on the Sons.  She knows the case will fall apart eventually, but before it does, she wants to get Nero to rat.

Also, as somebody else said, it's possible that Nero and Clay will cross paths in jail, so that might be interesting.  Maybe Clay tells Nero about the rapey guards and what they did to Gemma...

I'm pretty sure Gemma already did that.

So - explain to me here that ending.

Was there ever an actual pregnancy? Just something she was fucking with Gemma about?

Assuming that either way, there is no actual miscarriage - the rest of the hospital staff are just going along with the whole thing given she's hospitalized?

Pretty sure she wasn't actually pregnant and had some big plan to get Gemma out of her life. I do find it ridiculous that the rest of the staff are going along with it.

Execproducer is right that Nero already knows about the rapey guards.  I forgot that bit.

I'm no doctor, but I'm not seeing anything implausible about the staff reactions.  If Tara says she's pregnant, they're going to assume she is.  And after the "miscarriage" they're not going to test whether she had been pregnant.  Would there be any reason to do an ultrasound after a miscarriage?  If they did one on Tara now, would it show that she hadn't been pregnant?  Anyway, as a doctor, I imagine Tara knows how the other doctors would react and could prepare for it.

The possible fly in the ointment could be if the police investigate, since they will presumably be charging Gemma with assault.

I normally don't nitpick shows that much but this has really been bugging the hell out of me as well. I'm begging someone, anyone who is investigating that whore's murder to actually ask one of the other chicks at the brothel who her last client was and did anyone ever actually see her with Nero the night of the murder. You'd think "who was the last person she was seen with/going to meet with" would be the first goddamn thing they'd ask. "oh hai, she went with some sketchy long-haired dude who just so happened to be hanging around the next day when you arrested the guy with the airtight alibi. Oh and he left his business card here for our boss, the guy with the airtight alibi".

Neither Patterson or Roosevelt thinks Nero did it. Patterson is leveraging the fact that he doesn't know that against him to get to the club, and Roosevelt is letting it play out, but keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't go too far.

Adding to what Hollinger said, it was an out call, so they wouldn't necessarily be able to ID Toric if he phoned in.  And presumably he'd use a phony name since he wouldn't want his real name to be on a brothel's client list, even if he wasn't planning to kill the woman.

That said, I think you have a valid point: they would surely know exactly where she was headed and be able to match that to Toric's hotel room, so it would be pretty tough to keep a lid on that long enough to get Nero into jail.  Everybody at Diosa would be screaming to the media that they need to look for the john who was in the hotel room.  And Nero would feel hardly any pressure to turn on SAMCRO since he would know that their court case is super-thin.  So that's a bit weak.

Plotwise, they could even make it work if Pounder claimed (knowing it's a lie) that Toric called the woman to the hotel to get her to rat on Nero for his involvement in the school shooting, Nero found out that they met, and so he killed her.  That would tie up loose ends and actually create a motive for Nero to have killed her and help Pounder politically to make it seem like she's zeroing in on making a case on the school shooting, but they haven't gone that route.

Nero was a motherfucking G trying to take the bullet for the school shooting.

They do need to remind us Tara is facing prison time and that's why she's doing all this. I thought Wendy was getting the kids? Now it appears they will go to the conveniently placed former old lady/hospital admin...?

Lol at the person thinking Jax is a homicidal maniac for killing that child porn lady. Shit I'm surprised Sutter didn't give us a glimpse of those 2 dudes with her getting killed brutally.

Previously on Sons of Anarchy.

Jaxass: "Uhhhh...I probably shouldn't of wasted her, huh?"

Robocop:" Don't worry, kid...ur secrets safe with me. hehehehe"

This show started with the idea that, despite being VP, Jax wasn't fully invested in the club because he hadn't killed anyone.. Now he's racking up serial killer numbers. That is, when he isn't bashing in the faces of porn starlets or injecting his ex with speed balls.

Show went off the rails when they killed Opie.

The natural end game was Jax taking the gavel and turning into Clay 2.0 causing Opie to finish it once and for all by killing his best friend and disbanding SAMCRO.

Now I just want Clay to get paid and ride off into the sunset...

Question. Why did Wendy unbutton her blouse to shoot up?

Not complaining, just wasn't sure that was mandatory.

Evangelical Clay preaching about the joys of pussy was clearly the highlight of the episode.  Probably the highlight of the last couple seasons

I wonder if there was a single viewer rooting for Jax in the Jax v. Nero kitchen brawl?

Not sure why this episode had to be 90 minutes but whatevs.

And how stupid was the delivery guy? I've never met a delivery guy yet who didn't act like the pen was coming out of his check.

I'm assuming the delivery guy left it deliberately as a calling card, perhaps one the gang wasn't intended to notice until it was too late.

I don't buy that.  I mean, once they realized it, it only took them like 60 seconds to clear out.  So they were supposed to notice it at exactly 7:59:55?

So we're left with the delivery guy accidentally leaving his pen which just happens to be festooned with shamrocks.  Because of course all Irish people make sure everything they own looks like it came out a leprechaun's dickhole.

You don't have a pen with shamrocks on it? I feel so sorry for you.

There's also the bit that she's a doctor and it is very unlikely that anyone in her field is going to question her.

Poor Jax. I have no idea how this Tara story is going to turn out. That last scene where she's holding the baby with the gun on her lap was pretty crazy. Maybe I'm just manly beyond my wildest expectations for him but I think Charlie Hunnam is a really good actor. I think he's gonna be an even bigger star post SOA.

Also the guy who plays Happy is so great as a background dude. I loved his aw damn reaction to Gemma showing up during the Jax/Nero brawl.

I really don't like Tara being made out to be a villain while Jemma gets to skate on by.

BTW, how has this thread not turned into gif city with regards to Clay?

Maybe cause IRL Tara isn't married to the shows creator? ;) Gemma is hardly portrayed as a saint anyways.

The Clay scene was pretty funny. You can tell Perleman was having a good time with that. If I was the guard he bit I'd want to do more than punch him a few times.

My wife made a prediction that Tara's going to get offed since she's pregnant in real life. I just don't think she likes Tara.
