Coaches will go for the win instead of Overtime because they often know their team is spent and doesn't have a shot in OT.

The generally bank on one play from the two where you have the ball as opposed to having to play defense

Wasn't there an NFL game a few years ago that had an insane last play for the would be game tying touchdown, only for the placekicker to inexplicably gak the PAT?

And if I'm not mistaken, that's Curt Menefee on the call.

FIRE HASLET~!

you'd think they should be accusing the CMU coach of nefarious deeds since a 2pt attempt guarantees the spread was covered, while WKU could cover 3.5 in OT.

But we know the gambling houses are trying to figure out how to best rig the Rice/Fresno State game to hinder Tommy from Medford who has Rice to cover the spread

Their 7th loss came in the MW championship game. There's an exemption that protects 6-6 teams from missing out on a bowl because of that scenario.

I want to say UCLA went to a bowl at 6-7 after losing the PAC-12 title game a few years back.

Ole Miss hasn't been the same since Treadwell went down. Hard to be a one-dimensional team without your best player.

When you have to put your 300lb backup QB in the game to even remotely threaten your opponent with the run game, you have a problem.
