Death From Above Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Fuck Italy, really. Sport God sees.
ReiseReise Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Wow! Costa Rica takes the lead, right after a situation that could have been a penalty (and if it was a red card). This Costa Rican team is performing way better than expected.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Hahaha that was a tremendous few minutes there
Death From Above Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 This Costa Rica team is the most pleasant surprise since South Korea in 2002. Fun to watch, out of nowhere. No matter how their run ends, they've done their part to liven this one up. 1
Zheroen Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Bryan Ruiz has been great. His performance thus far makes you wonder how truly fucked up Fulham's management situation was this past season. They weren't able to get any form out of him whatsoever, and he looked like a shell of the player he was with Twente that prompted Fulham to splash out over 10 million on him in the first place. Then he goes on loan back to Holland with PSV, and he's scoring and creating chances once more.
Zheroen Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Holy shit, this Costa Rican newspaper poster is amazing 3
ReiseReise Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I don´t get it, yet I would like to have one of those. 1
Death From Above Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 A sloth smoking a doobie in some sort of King Kong tribute set in Italy. MAKES SENSE TO ME But yeah it's awesome. 2
Raziel Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 So, Mario doesn't get to kiss the Queen? And fuck that, it should be 2-0 now.
RIPPA Posted June 20, 2014 Author Posted June 20, 2014 "So you guys. We're not having fun anymore." Signed many UEFA teams 1
Raziel Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 CONCACAF REPRESENT!!!! England officially eliminated. BEST. WORLD. CUP. EVER!!!!
ReiseReise Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Incredible, how many of the "big" teams have trouble after a very good start. Holland barely beating Australia, Brazil 0-0 against Mexico, Italy losing to Costa Rica. Suddenly starting with a 4-0 doesn´t sound that great (superstitious pessimism mode).
Jiji Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 https://vine.co/v/MTrtQLuuhY0 Hodgson for England. Two more years. 1
Death From Above Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 There's now a very legitimate possibility that Spain, England, Italy, and Portugal could all be out in the group stage. Of course two of those are still alive, but to be honest I don't like Portugal's chances that much. And as for Italy/Uruguay, that's obviously going to be a really competitive game.
Sky Blue Sam Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 "So you guys. We're not having fun anymore." Signed many UEFA teams I think most England fans of my generation have never had fun, from what they tell me (and I say this as a Wales fan, which is far, far more depressing)
Zheroen Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I hope the person who created this GIF feels suitably ashamed at this point.
texanspaniard Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Wow! Yesterday had the fun Colombia-Ivory Coast match, the awesome dramatic England-Uruguay match and now this Costa Rica-Italy match! What a World Cup this has been so far! A CONCACAF side beating both Uruguay and Italy, former World Champions and the current Copa Americas and Euros runner ups, at the World Cup.. That is something else! Spain and England both gone, Italy and Portugal on the edge of the knife.. Anything can happen in this World Cup.
ReiseReise Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Well, it´s not that England has been pummeled and been thrown into the pool, they lost two competitive games, which equals being eliminated after two games. I think Costa Rica, so far, has been the real sensation of the tournament. I heard quite a few say they expected Chile to do well, still them beating Spain the way they did was amazing and a surprise. Costa Rica making it to the round of the last sixteen, possibly even winning the group, that is something else, though.
Sky Blue Sam Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 At this point, Hodgson should just go all out, and pick a fresh young team for Tuesday. Bin off Gerrard, Johnson and Baines, all of whom have been poor this World Cup, pick the players who will be in the next tournament like Wilshere, Smalling and Shaw to give them some big game experience and plan for the future.
Swift Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 https://vine.co/v/MTrtQLuuhY0 Hodgson for England. Two more years. Holy shit, that vine is amazing!
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Amazing seeing all you guys so surprised at England being in trouble. They have a fucking owl managing them!
