Ace
I'm guessing they do a Bad News/Bret finish with the Real Americans in the Andre Memorial. Wasn't there some battle royal where a tag team (the Road Warriors?) were in at the end and agreed to split the prize money? They should either borrow that ending or tease it and do a swerve. Skyscrapers at Bash '89.

Curt McGirt
Also, Ambrose coming in the ring immediately after the Shield win to soak up the victory as only he can was fantastic. I know some think all the shit he does is way OTT but I eat it right up. EDIT: His reaction during the pinfall was even better
piranesi
Man I forgot the Cesaro/Swagger handshake: "Let GOOOOO!!!!! OWWW!!!!! MANNNNN!!!!!!! LET GOOOOO!O!!!!!" Swagger is surprisingly entertaining as a big puss.

Cristobal
Also, much love for keeping the Shield together (however long it lasts) as a babyface trio, but still letting them work basically the same way against the Rhodes. I agree about Regal/Jericho Wait a second.... am I taking crazy pills???? Wrong damned thread. Or something. Look, the point is YAY SHIELD!

I know some think all the shit he does is way OTT but I eat it right up. EDIT: His reaction during the pinfall was even better The Shield are a perfectly matched trio. Ambrose is constantly manic, Reigns tightly controlled with brief explosions of emotion, Rollins as usual representing that happy medium, easily able to get fired up without losing his shit the way Ambrose is prone to do. MGFanJay
Considering how much Mike Rotundo sucks, it's a testament to whatever talents were passed on by Bray/Bo's Windham mother that two sons of Mike Rotundo could be interesting at wrestling. so WWE Network, are you uploading all the Andre the Giant battle royals you can find pre-WM? I would almost mark out of Bray did an abdominal stretch using the ropes at WM. Almost. Because I just watched Halloween Havoc '89 over the weekend and he did that AND a headscissors holding the ropes as well. Before the thread gets shuttered: The Andre trophy really should have had him with the fro, arms extended, with a huge laugh exposing the three rows of teeth. Or just been him with all the women hanging on his arms. The old dude right next to Bryan totally didn't look like a plant and was super enthused without being over the top. That fact also made the JBL firehose shit twice as bad. I liked Nattie saying the bit her dad did for the promo featured on Wrestling with Shadows about losing her manners I'm slightly astonished the statue isn't just a version of the Andre/Steph photo. If someone else starts a RAW thread before JayFan then go ahead. We are not going to suspend or ban him. Sorry Cristobal EDIT: Also, don't turn this thread into a forum on MGJayfan's personal tastes. I humbly apologize for making the 37th or so comment disagreeing with Jay's assessment of the show tonight. I deeply regret my actions. They were unprofessional, and not what's best for boardsness. I think reading the whole review would help a lot on this because I liked the occupy Raw bit overall. It had a goofy, contrived setup before the break, and then had some weird stuff and some damned amazing stuff. The good definitely outweighed the bad in quantity and I loved HHH's bit mocking the fat dude. It was a weird meta segment that had a lot of things going on it and overall, did a lot of good for the Bryan-HHH match, the WWE Title match, and WM as a whole. Before that segment, there was a feeling of WWE being stubborn and just going with Plan A even if it wasn't working - although them turning Batista made it kind of clear they'd be changing things up, but with WWE, you never really know. After it, you got Bryan-HHH not only on the card, which was a foregone conclusion, but the match that everyone wanted anyway - Bryan back in the title mix. There's a very real chance that WM XXX is going to end with Bryan fucking Danielson holding the WWE and World titles over his head after beating HHH and Orton (since I don't see them pinning Dave again), and I'll be seeing it live for $10 a month, and that's going to rule. piranesi
Ambrose best facials were when Rollins was talking back to Kane backstage and he was doing the twist back and forth "I'm a pretty pretty girl" thing...that's a thing, right? Oh, god, the facials.

Cristobal
I'm interested in how many people will feel this was the plan all along and how many won't. I'm not. Whether the plan all along was "Have Bryan do double-duty at Mania, but make it seem like we're not going to to build heat," or whether the plan was Batista/Orton in the Main Event and at some point they just went "Well shit, that ain't gonna work. Alright, Plan B(ryan)," they made the right call. Let's enjoy the good before the inevitable fuck-up, and then we can move into our respective "Well that was a fuck-up" and "No it wasn't, just wait and see!" corners once again.

I think it worked that it was one of the first times Bray has gotten a "serious" non crazy look...like he was actually flustered. That's actually better than him trying to no sell it. But then he caught himself and went back to googly-eyed dancing and it was sublime.
