Cowboy Wally
Does anyone have any thoughts or info on Overeem training in Thailand? Sometimes a new camp and trainer can pay dividends.
Elsalvajeloco
Does anyone have any thoughts or info on Overeem training in Thailand? Sometimes a new camp and trainer can pay dividends. He did some training in Thailand for his last camp, IIRC. Overeem's problems go beyond just his camp. In fights, he just doesn't do a whole lot. When you're fighting other heavy guys, that doesn't lead to good things (i.e. being on the wrong end of two come-from-behind knockouts). And he really isn't a one strike KO guy when all things are equal. There are no more James Thompsons and Tony Sylvesters at his pay grade. He can do it occasionally, but his run in DREAM and K-1 clouded opinions on his knockout power.
Ace
Plus, his testosterone issue. Since we've seen what happens when he fights without it.

Guest Edwin
Nova Uniao is walking in with 2 champions and walking out with 2 champions. Also, I just noticed the prelims are extremely weak and uninteresting, but all 5 of those main card fights should be awesome. Sick card which hasn't seem to garner as much attention as it should. The Natural
Good main card with two title fights. Big night for Urijah Faber. Hoping three round Faber shows up. We also probably have a loser leaves UFC fight between Frank Mir and Alistair Overeem as well.
Guest Edwin
Three round Faber? Is that an implication that Barao finishes him within three rounds this time around?
MarcosLoura
Will this be a thing again? So good.
Antacular
Stoked for the main card. Pulling for Faber, but I just don't see it happening.

Indeed, but he is fighting Frank Mir so expect all the Overeem lovers to rave about his KO power again after this fight.
Ace
John Lineker has missed weight for the 4th time.
TheVileOne
He still has time, but if he doesn't, fire that dude already. He and his manager said he was on weight and promised he would make weight. This would be three in a row and also his fourth time in the UFC. It's unprofessional. TheVileOne
He dodged a huge bullet there. But how can the UFC have faith in him to maybe give him a title shot? He's missed weight three times, and he's struggling to get the one pound allowance on 125 pounds.
epwar
If enthusiasm were KOs, Alan Patrick would be king of the world!
The Natural
Three round Faber? Is that an implication that Barao finishes him within three rounds this time around? Three round Faber hasn't ever lost a three round fight, he's looked particularly great against Brian Bowles, Ivan Menjivar and Michael McDonald. I want that Faber to show up and win the UFC Bantamweight Championship. I forgot to propose we should have had a bonus event in the picks contest, will John Lineker make weight. Noticed I'm the only person picking Urijah Faber to beat Renan Barao. That pick is part heart overruling head one.

Zero
Is it bad that I get such joy seeing a whole team fail miserably at winning titles? Horrible card save that Varner fight..
Craig H
Je-sus-Christ I like Faber, but dude, turtling up and giving a thumbs up isn't intelligently defending yourself. Sorry bro, but Herb Dean saved you from massive brain damage.
Zero
Seriously, where does fighting back = giving a thumbs up? The fight wasn't going to be any different. Renan was winning that fight.
Craig H
For all Herb knows, thumbs up means, "Yes, I'm done, get this fucker off of me."
