As I mentioned in the other thread - the Nats officially called up James Wood and totally didn't manipulate his service time

Only 11 years to go.

All Star Game is in 2 weeks.  Trade deadline a couple weeks after that.

Really surprised Cohen hasn't paid this off just to fuck up the holiday.

Would totally be in his character.

Twins Jose Miranda becomes only the 4th player ever to record hits in 12 straight ABs

The Yanks Ben Rice becomes the first rookie in franchise history to hit 3 HRs in a game

I feel like this movie would be about Nic Cage and Cillian Murphy resurrecting pitches that no one throws any more like the slurve, screwball, and who can master the eephus first.

What in the blue hell are they wearing? Haven’t watched the All Star game in years, was pumped to see some Black and Gold on the mound in the 1st inning. Those AL uniforms are really bad, how does someone approve those?

The same way they approve ghost runners, city connects, and John Fisher’s bitch ass still being allowed to own a team

The 2025 season will begin with the Dodgers and Cubs playing in Tokyo on March 18 and 19

Then all 30 teams will play on March 27 for the earliest Opening Day ever (excluding international games)

There were supposed to be games in Paris and Puerto Rico next year. Neither will happen. The Paris games are off because MLB couldn't find a sponsor for the games

Went under the radar this week, but Tampa has approved the new $1.7b ballpark facilities for the Rays.

Oakland's head on a spike having the desired effect

Yes - Nick Castellanos did indeed hit a HR today

As a cute addendum to this, DraftKings/FanDuel and a couple of the other houses were either limiting bets on a Castellanos homer or simply not taking them at all.
