Based on the last couple weeks, Rodri may be the most valuable player in the Premier league, given City's results without him.

The Boy is out at DC United.

Somewhere, Sven Goran Eriksson is crying tears, and the Special One (Very nice) is telling him "Shut up, Sven" (or he's telling Sven not to be doing the pimping all over the place to take Wayne's job)

(if you don't get the reference, don't worry. Although Joe-say (as he was sometimes called) will be very disappointed with you.

(yes, I want them to bring back Special 1 TV, so what?)

The Boy is in at Birmingham.

Karma if it bites Birmingham on the ass. That statement announcing John Eustace sacking was so bad.

Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguay Beat Brazil last night in Comnebol news.

Somehow, Venezuela is tied with those two in the tale, with Venezuela having drawn with Brazil last week.

And, unsurprisingly,  Neymar may be hurt again.

Neymar ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament AND meniscus in his knee while playing for Brazil. The ACL is the worst you can do and he's done his meniscus as well.

Ian Dennis, BBC 5 Live:

This sad news will extend far beyond Manchester and indeed these shores, because Sir Bobby Charlton was one of the greatest players that the world had ever seen.

One of the few players to win the World Cup, a European Cup and the Ballon d'Or.

What a life, what a player, and what a person. As the Manchester United statement said, 'a man of real integrity.'

He was the last surviving member of those involved in the Munich Air disaster in 1958. He captained United to their first European cup against Benfica, the first English team to win the competition. Of course a World Cup winner for England in 1966, scoring 49 goals in 106 appearances.

Such longevity in his career, 1956 to 1980 was his career, in over 750 appearances for club and country and only twice booked.

A true great for club and country. He will be much missed.
