The article also mentions Javier Baez as the worst hitter in the majors. Intrigued, I looked him up. Baez currently has an OPS of .441. Baez is playing 85% of Detroit's games, putting him on pace to play 137 games. In the live ball era, there have been just 11 guys to play 120 games with an OPS under .500. Unsure who all they are, as Baseball Reference will only show me one of the 11, but suffice to say Baez has been historically awful this year (after being just generically awful the last two years).

Man. FF16 keeps getting better and better. I’m still not totally thrilled with combat. As invincible as I felt in Rebirth, I’m even more godlike in 16 and that’s without any of the dodging aides. It’s at least a little more open at times so it doesn’t feel as on rails, but it would have been awesome if there were some kind of middle ground between Rebirth’s open world and the experience 16 gives you.

Agreed on those final two matches. Great "veteran disrespecting the youngster" storylines, with two different routes to the payoff. Despy in particular was an awesome prick to Fujita. I'd totally forgotten Christian was in since he's the GCW world champion. I'd say some interesting politics might be in play, but they probably don't care if he drops a couple of falls... especially if it means setting up some new challenges for him (I know Despy's worked for them in the past).

Yeah this one is obviously less heart breaking than last year (which only got worse as Wemby kept dominating even on a terrible team all season) but it's just kind of numbing that Detroit has gone 31-133 the last two years and gotten a pair of #5 overall picks. Hell, they are 54-192 the last three years and are picking fifth for third straight season.

This is wonderful but I'm glad she didn't come in a second earlier when they were chanting for Athena.
