Mauro Ranallo will be calling Omega vs Swann.

I don't hate Mauro as much as the vast majority do but anyone that thinks that Mauro and Matt Striker together for commentary isn't one of the places reserved in hell I don't know what is

Impact Wrestling Currently Looking For More Latin Talent

Konnan recently responded to a fan on Twitter who said Impact Wrestling should sign more Latin talent, noting that the company is looking for more wrestlers to join Black Taurus. He later said that one of the main issues was waiting for visas.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, El Hijo del Vikingo is being looked at by Impact Wrestling.

While I get the idea of someone like Mauro giving a show a "big match feel", if you have to replace your regular commentary team to get that feel you have problems.

Backstage News On The Success Of Impact Wrestling Rebellion PPV

The Impact Wrestling Rebellion pay-per-view event that was headlined by the “Title vs. Title” match featuring AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and then-Impact World Champion Rich Swann was a big success.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this event was the most successful PPV for the company in ‘many years’ but the exact numbers are unknown at this time.

Per the report, the streaming numbers at the start of the show were higher than the total number of buys for any show since Anthem bought the company from Dixie Carter in 2017.

Through traditional TV buys, this was double what Hard to Kill did and seven times the total buys (and nine times the paid buys) of Bound for Glory. The TV number, including late buys, will likely increase another 10%.
