"tape trader"... getting the rights to it Wasn't a big reason for that where Don Owen only bought one tape and just kept taping over it each week, meaning the Portland video library has to be pieced together by fans who taped the shows (if they exist at all?) He fucked his friend's wife with his friend's knowledge. The guy (Bubba) was in the room. Then Bubba took the tape to work and either 1) Someone he worked with leaked it or 2) Bubba and Hogan had a falling out and Bubba leaked it. Apparently Bubba made no bones about the fact that he had cameras all over his house, as well. I have no idea what the real truth is but, on face value, it seems like Bubba and Hogan were into some funky shit. I'm just clarifying; your post makes it sound like you think Gawker set up cameras in the guy's house and then put the full video online. The morality of Gawker publishing bits and pieces of a leaked celebrity sex tape along with a commentary depends on where you stand on things like that. We do have a 24/7 news cycle and gossip sites out there, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On a side note, "CUCKOLDED BY THE HULKSTER" would be an excellent name for a porno. And of course Hogan was into some funky shit. I don't think you sleep with your best friend's hot wife (with your best friend's knowledge!) without being into, well, some funky shit. But, as this lawsuit shows, Hogan clearly wasn't cool with the whole "Let's video it and use it as blackmail and put it on the internet for the world to see" element.
