_MJ_
Blockbuster-wise, there ain't shit coming out this week. There's a couple of interesting indy flicks but I don't see much else. Hell, the re-release of Forrest Gump might have a decent showing with nothing else going on.
S.K.o.S.
Yeah, it's weird getting myself so familiar with everything coming out in theatres from May to August, and then September hits and I'm like "What the hell are these? Why have I never heard of them?"
Elsalvajeloco
It's good to see that Universal and Legendary started their relationship off with a bang with As Above, So Below though. Blockbusters like that shouldn't be wasted under New Line Cinema.
Brian Fowler
The weekend after Labor Day is typically one of the slowest (if not THE slowest) of the year, anyway. Assuming GotG does win (and it's hard to not assume so) it will be the first movie to win 4 different weekends since the first Hunger Games in early 2012. S.K.o.S.
That could pretty much be it for the results. The only likely movement on the lists is Giver moving ahead of Expendables 3 on box office, and that won't affect the top six players.

_MJ_
I don't want to jinx anything because something bizarre might still happen; a producer from Sin City could still sell his soul to the devil to win the box office race for the next two weeks or something worse. I was in 14th place one of these weeks so I don't trust it until the final update. This year, I spent way too much time on my list and definitely did some research, so I can't act nonchalant about it. Fantasy football-esque. S.K.o.S.
From the rules: Also, if two or more movies end up tied in box office gross right down to the dollar (pretty much impossible, but just in case), or end up with the exact same rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the ranking of those two movies will be set to whatever is more favorable for each individual person. This rule has never actually come into play before, but as of this morning, Expendables 3 and The Giver are tied with 33.3333...% on Rotten Tomatoes. We'll see if it stays that way. _MJ_
That Dolphin Tale movie doesn't have the same amount of buzz Idris Elba's flick has right now. I know the original Dolphin Tale must have had at least a moderate amount of success and everyone likes to give family movies the benefit of doubt, but I've seen very little marketing for it. No Good Deed is getting terrible reviews, but they are dropping it at the perfect time in this little thrills September. The marketing push has been pretty solid for it too. S.K.o.S.
Absolutely nothing changes from last week. -MJ- becomes the first person to win this whole thing twice, and everyone down to The Natural at #6 gets a prize. I'll start sending out PMs to get addresses after this weekend.

Brian Fowler
If you don't hear from The Natural, let me know, I can try and get a hold of him on Facebook. Paul has understandably not been around lately.

ivpvideos
Thanks for running this as always. I refuse to watch Maleficient as it totally screwed me. Why did I put that as number one. To hell with you Angelina Jolie, to hell with you.
