Every time I watch that trailer I get chills. I think the shot that gets me the most is the one foot down shot. That is the beautiful difference between college and NFL for me.

Please let this be good…

So we can start as Coordinators and work to HC... can we change schools as HC's? (like, if we're HC at a Middle Tennessee, as we skill up, can we parlay that into, like, a job at a B1G or SEC school?)  If that's the case, FUCK THIS'LL BE AWESOME!

While I'm waiting for this, I finally decided  to give a MLS save on FM24 a shot.  It's been... interesting, but I'm waiting to see what happens when the rest of the leagues that start in July kick in and how that screws me up (I'm pretty sure I landed one of the wingers from Mexico as a Free Agent because no one else was around to bid).  Alos looking to see how the 2nd season works out, since that's where I've read that the AI teams for MLS fall apart.

Stop! I can only get so erect.

Let's just say, this is going to dominate my hour count for the year.

Excited to turn Auburn into the power it should be, and become a humble OC for Troy to work my way to the ranks to a top tier job.

I'm debating if this is the thing that will push me into getting a PS Portal, or will the latency be too much for even offline play.

Much like Remote Play, which is just the PC/Mobile apps that the Portal is based on, make sure your router is working on WiFi 6 (not 6GHz, but standard 6, or AX).  I usually play stuff on Remote Play and don't have any issues normally.

At this point I'm trying to get as much as my MLS save done as I can, because once NCAA drops, I'm pretty much on that til Assassain's Creed comes out... in November.

I've kind of avoided the metered passing in Madden the last couple of games it's been a feature. I do think there's some mechanics in this game that will force me to probably play exclusively offline because I do not have the time or energy to "git gud" as the kids maybe still say these days. (I look way too young and feel way too old for 37 going on 38).

It has been announced Arch Manning is opting out of the NCAA game, to "focus on playing football." Does he think being in the game means he has to play it? More likely of course someone in his very famous family advised him not to if the money wasn't right considering their "famous name" but that would at least be a real reason.

On the plus side, the game is "87% of the way to their goal" for opt ins.  Ewers, Travis Hunter, Carson Beck, Jalen Milroe, and Dillon Gabriel have all opted in. It should be noted the pay to players is $600 and a free copy of the game. I know that doesn't sound like much (because it isn't) but they've already hit 10,000 player opt-ins, and it would have been a logistical nightmare to come up with different dollar amounts for every player based on their popularity. I wouldn't be shocked to find out later though that the top players got a little extra money, especially whoever ends up on the cover.

In a shocking(!!!) twist, Arch Manning announced today he is in the game and also did a commercial that I have no doubt he was paid well for. Guess it wasn't about lack of focus and maybe about money.

I'm stupidly hyped for this game and I know I shouldn't be since its still an EA football game. But they seem to have put a lot of effort into getting the "feel" right. Hope I'm not being bamboozled, I want it to be great.

I really wish EA would stealth drop this over the weekend for anyone that paid for early access. I'm out of town next weekend (promised to take the fiancée's kids to Top Golf and a Braves game in Atlanta along with their mom doing back to school shopping), so an unencumbered weekend with this would be nice.

Well, if you want to know if the game is going to suck, I dropped $100 to get the deluxe edition to play it 3 days early. Historically, whenever I preorder a game like that, it sucks.

I really want this one to be good. I'll find out at 4 pm tomorrow.

I back in May reupped my EA Play and then bought the MVP edition with the extra discount to get both games for $135.

I may not get much sleep tonight. I wish I could find an excuse to be home at 3:00 PM Central.

I'm kinda now kicking myself for pre-ordering the Standard Edition because I didn't care about any of the online bonuses, and I wasn't paying $30 extra to get it 3 days early.  Now I'm thinking if it let me upgrade from Standard the the next tier, I'd do it, but nope, gotta pay $100.  Oh well, I'm waiting til Friday.

I was just thinking that I’d be able to play this at 4 and forgot I have to take my older daughter to band lessons and then by the time we get back the tv will be dominated by my younger daughter watching Trolls movies.

In hindsight, I should have just saved the $30.
