mikedikk
Did anyone else watch? It was kind of cool, but mostly sad. Very, very. very sad. Not sure what the board rules are in this modern era of youtube and all but this youtube account may or may not have the entire card if you too have a more than morbid curiosity about the FMW reboot - https://www.youtube.com/user/MuttonAndTheHam/videos
Curt McGirt
http://puroresuspirit.net/2015/12/fmw-results-for-december-22-2015/ I had no idea this even happened; here's the results. Onita looks HAGGARD. Also, how is nobody bleeding in this photo? Are they afraid of catching something from Onita?
mikedikk
He looked better than some of the other guys they dug up (though he kind of looked like he was wearing a wig, but since thats probably impossible when you're DEATH MATCH RASSLIN, i guess maybe just heavily dyed). I will say, I'm so surprised the Headhunters are still alive/not handicap/look pretty good for their age and that FMW wasted money on flying them to Japan just to do this sleazy sleazy show. Curt McGirt
I guess when Onita decided to have a set of trios belts made for a promotion that is probably only having one or two shows, he decided to go whole hog (pardon the pun).
Rev Ray
Jeez, NOSAWA throwing a fucking broken barbed wire board into the crowd like he was a japanese Harris brother.
cool arrow
Jeez, NOSAWA throwing a fucking broken barbed wire board into the crowd like he was a japanese Harris brother. Only without the Nazism.
BrianS81177
Headhunters looked really good. I can't tell which is which, but one of them was noticeably thinner than the other.
Sawada's Cobra
Ray vs Hamada and seeing the Headhunters was by far the best part of the show. Honestly I ended up skipping most of that Nita/Buffalo tag match, I love Buffalo but this was horrid.
BAHU
Just for the record. This show did really well drawing 1800 fans for a Korakuen Hall show which these days barely any promotion besides New Japan or Dragon Gate can hit. That is really impressive as the place was legit packed. So you can't say they wasted money bringing The Headhunters in for two shows when the main show they were brought in and promoted for did really well. They looked good for their age and considering they were not that good 20 years ago. Also, this was not a one show thing. They have been promoting 2-4 shows every month since April and they will be returning to Korakuen in February due to this show being such a success. They created six man titles because every main event is pretty much a 6 man match which those matches are a lot more fun live than watching on tape.
Kevin Wilson
Impressive to hit it for the show (probably more fair at this point to compare it to say Real Japan or Legend if they still exist than promotions that run the venue a few times a month), it will be interesting to see if they can maintain it. Nostalgic sometimes has staying power but it usually doesn't, it was an interesting little show though. I always root for sleazy shit so I hope they keep airing the shows also. Virtualpros
Ray vs. Hamada was pretty solid (Hamada drills Rey with a kick that made me flinch), which was a surprise to me because the first time I saw Ray she looked god awful against Hikaru Shiida. Did Ray formerly wrestle as someone else or is this her first foray?
Ryan
She's apparently Lin Bairon of SMASH fame. Twelve year vet, believe it or not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_%28wrestler%
