The poster to me says "Well, we had this complete picture of Werdum vs Cain, but we tore out the side with Cain and found this other picture with Hunt on it."

TUF Latin America - You were so bad we won't even have you fight on the main card of a card that was made for you.

On an emotional level I'm rooting for Hunt and want him to win.  Unfortunately, I can't bet on that after he got submitted by the likes of Sean McCorkle.

White said he’d be open to removing the interim tag should Velasquez be unable to fight.

“We’re headed in that direction now,” White said. “This next fight in Mexico is for the interim title. So if Cain couldn’t compete again, the winner of this fight would be seen as the champion.”

Enrique Briones: Loses the first round. Comes back and drops Guido Cannetti with a brutal right uppercut counter and then proceeds to choke out Guido.

Great card.

Sucks Hunt lost. He was doing so well in the first. Then Werdum hit that knee and it was over.

Gastelum is a beast.

The TUF guys looked good.

Mark Hunt losing pretty much his last title shot makes me  :( .  Even though it was pretty obvious that he was going to be in awful shape if it made to the 3rd round

Having a UFC PPV finish before midnight makes me  :) .  Whoever told Dana not to put about 2 or 3 replays on the PPV give that man a bonus

I was super impressed with Hunt really. I totally thought Werdum would get a takedown and sub him quick in round 1.

Good show overall.  Hunt's loss was heartbreaking, especially after he started so strong, but I was expecting Werdum to win.

Now we just need Velasquez to stop getting hurt and stop over training.

Sad to see Hunt go down, but at least he kept it intense and competitive during that first round.

We always go to see the PPVs at our local Buffalo Wild Wings and last night we were literally the only people in this huge dining room left watching the show.  Weird.

So how do you see a potential Werdum-JDS rematch going down? Werdum's improved striking, and just knowing what he's getting himself into, would obviously change things considerably, but I'm wondering if you'd still give JDS the advantage.

Posted

I would still pick JDS to beat him by decision this time though.

Kelvin Gastelum is a star in the making. If they continue building him up, I can definitely see him and Myles Jury being at the top of their divisions for a long time in the next couple of years.

I meant respective divisions; Kelvin at 170, Myles at 155.
