Mexico advances on penalties. Of course, no one's going to mention the refs literally let them play until Mexico scored the equalizer in the 11th minute of second half stoppage time, sending off two Honduras players after that, and then forcing retakes of penalties until the third attempt was scored.

That fucking ref needs to have his FIFA license revoked. Absolutely appalling behavior. Mexico’s keeper jumped the gun during Honduras’ last penalty, but the little fucker swallowed his whistle. And he didn’t have the balls to sanction the Mexican crowd for the audible puto chants too.

CONCACAF refs being total shithouse? Who knew.

Canada loses at home to Jamaica to crash out of the Nations League, and potentially cost themselves a spot in Copa America. The Golden Age of Canadian Men's Soccer is turning to shit in a hurry.

To be fair, that 2nd sending off could have seen the guy sent off twice over. (he committed a foul that was likely his 2nd Yellow, ref played advantage, and then that challenge later in the play which yeah, any ref would have given that as a red

In real time, that red card looked like a dive to me IMO. Maybe because I'm so cynical when players go down with the slightest of contact that it inspired NFL roughing the passer being the joke it is now.

Met Chris Kamara today. Don't normally get book signings at all in Bradford. Found out a few days ago. What a lovely man. Got to shake his hand, put his arm round me when having our picture and spoke to him for five minutes as did my Dad who went first. Class act.

TNS, the then Welsh Champions had to play a European game at the Racecourse a few years back against Legia Warsaw and the few visiting fans who did show up were mental, especially as they occupied one corner of the ground and spent their time singing and setting off flares. Anyone coming to Wrexham for a Thursday night piss-up must be cracked.

England ladies with a big comeback from down 0-2 to beat the Netherlands 3-2 and keep their Olympic hopes alive. Now, it's a strange bit, where the Netherlands play Belgium and England plays scotland. England have to beat scotland by 3 more goals than Netherlands do Belgium (if they win) to qualify.

How's it strange? If England make the Olympics (have to finish top 2, or top 3 if France wins, as hosts they auto-qualify), they'll play as Team Great Britain, and include Scottish players.
