ReiseReise Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 (edited) Mario Balotelli apparently got subbed on in the 74th, got yellow carded in the 80th for a Foul, and then got sent off in the 81st for complaining...sb got that "why always me?!" pic on standby? Gotta love that guy. Edited January 20, 2020 by ReiseReise 1
The Natural Posted January 21, 2020 Author Posted January 21, 2020 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51163821 When can Liverpool win Premier League Championship by?
odessasteps Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Barca gets a stoppage goal from.Griezmann to come back and beat Ibiza 2-1 in the Cup.
Pete Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Burnley win at Old Trafford for the first time since 1962.
Jiji Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 I am so, so shocked that City may have cooked the shit out of their books and/or had shady sponsorship deals back in 2014. 1
AxB Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Christian Eriksen to Internazionale is happening. Also, in clear indicator of their current ambition level, Manchester United are attempting to get Islam Slimani on loan from Leicester.
Pete Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Only in soccer: Coventry, forced to play their home matches 40 miles out of town at Birmingham City after getting kicked out of the Ricoh, are "hosting" Birmingham City today in the FA Cup. What up @Sky Blue Sam? 2
The Natural Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 Anybody else wanting West Ham United down like me? For me it's because of the owners, the owners and the Hammers losing Upton Park for the London Stadium.
The Natural Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 West Ham United Premier League fixtures:

If you think about it losing out on the bidding for the Olympic Stadium was probably just about the best thing that has ever happened to Spurs. 1
AxB Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 It's just not right, when sports teams are funded by the taxpayer. Supposed to be a level playing field, financially.
odessasteps Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 When you have teams owned by nation states and oligarchs, harder to have competitive balance. 1
Dewar Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Soccer hasn't been a level playing field financially in any of our lifetimes. The rich get richer, and the smaller clubs are lucky if they can qualify for Europen competitions.
odessasteps Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 I would say never, when you had the factory owners/robber barons owning teams in Victorian times and all the shenanigans involving importing and paying players, etc.
AxB Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Yeah, but that stuff all falls under Evils Of Capitalism. Getting a free stadium off the Government that taxpayers paid for is well dodgy.
odessasteps Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Dodgy is probably expected when dealing with the pornographers.

What up @Sky Blue Sam? Very strange day, albeit probably more strange for the Birmingham fans forced to sit in the away end. It made for quite an enjoyable atmosphere in the end, and 21,000 is comfortably our biggest attendance this season. Of course, the game ended up a draw, so now we have the replay this time as the away team. 2
