EVA Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Why are we not discussing Johnny going full heel with the autograph and money taunts?
just drew Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Satan doesn't coach until tonight. Every once in a while, it's a barrel of monkeys watching one's Alma Mater curbstomp a team full of nobodies. Thanks, Jackets....
Newb82 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I like Syracuse but usually don't care about college ball. I really want them to drop Pedo State like a bad habit.
Josh Mann Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Allen Robinson was benched at the last minute for reasons Penn State refused to eleborate on. Guys, the last time you decided to cover up something, HOW'D IT WORK OUT?
Josh Mann Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 By the way, Johnny Manziel might be the best heel in college football since, well, my Canes.
Burgundy LaRue Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Nah. The Canes were heels, but they were also charming and funny (except Lamar Thomas. Because for real? That dude irked.). Manziel is Massengill to the max. There's no finesse in his heelish ways. So no bueno for me.

So no bueno for me.The best summation of those UM teams is LeBatard saying in the 30f30 doc that Jimmy should have coached the game with both middle fingers up. Which if you can picture that with that evil porkface smile is an awesome image. To your point, yes. They were never villains to me obv but I can understand why other people saw them that way. That said, next to Jerome Brown or even Michael Irvin, Johnny Football ain't shit.
Death From Above Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Miss. State really should have concocted a way to score on that missed field goal at the end of the half on OSU there, would have been tremendous. So close.
Niners Fan in CT Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Florida did what they had to do. I don't think anyone is expecting much out of this offense although I like what Valdez brings. Mississippi St. and Okie St. is quite the clusterfuck.
Burgundy LaRue Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 SEC defenses are going to enjoy tearing the flesh from his bones.
hammerva Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I am going to miss watching the SEC on CBS instead of ESPN. Just doesn't seem right to watch Alabama without Verne Linquist
Niners Fan in CT Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Va Tech's defense has been great but a special teams TD and a pick six... still down 21-7
hammerva Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Make that another special teams TD for Alabama. This is definitely not your father's Beamer Ball
Newb82 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Good effort by the 'Cuse. The guy that used to call ESPN Sunday Night games with Theisman called this one. He was absolutely brutal. Having not heard him for a few years, it was like when I wasn't sure if Dick Enberg was still calling games, then getting him for a late-season Bills jobber game and wondering why he wasn't getting the big games like he used to. Then the game went on and I knew why.
bink_winkleman Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Can't find the gifs, but there's plenty of him doing THIS EXACT SAME THING in about three games last season. He should sure as fuck know better than to do this now, and I certainly wanted to kick him in the teeth after he walked away from Sumlin, but this is so phony drama. If I were God, we'd fix our D, JFF would run up 1,000 yards in the BCSCG, then he gets his legs broken in the first Cowboys preseason game of 2014.
Niners Fan in CT Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Vernon Adams is fucking torching Oregon St. right now in the first half. 246 yards and 3 TD's. You'll remember Eastern Washington as 1. the team with the red field and 2. the team that won the FCS championship a few years ago. Beavers need to get their shit together.
JRGoldman Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I see that they have brought back those Heisman House ads this year. This is a wasted opportunity unless we get newest house mate Johnny Football being an alcohol douche and pissing in Sam Bradford's laundry and shit.
Death From Above Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 The Clemson entrance is getting a better hype job than some bowl games will later this year. Seriously, this is pretty cool. 1
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Those Heisman House ads need to feature Leinart and Tebow coming 'home' after being 'kicked out' of the NFL fraternity. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Clemson's entrance is one of my favorite things. Still, I have Georgia winning this.
Death From Above Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 So yeah this game has my full attention. All the atmosphere in the world and a wild beginning.
