Pete Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Amused that these two schools would have more fans at the Dome if they were playing basketball.
Brian Fowler Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 The Big 10 missing the playoffs altogether would make my year. There would be enough whining and crying posts on the internet to fill a book the size of Count of Monte Cristo. As a guy who is a big enough fan of the B1G to actually type B1G, the only way the conference deserves a playoff spot is if someone emerges undefeated. (So, hey, if Gardner can play closer to the "guy that shredded Ohio State and Notre Dame" and less "the guy who led the team to one offensive touchdown in three weeks" and if they can maybe, somewhat, protect him... GO BLUE)
Brisco Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Well Cuse/Nova was a fun exercise in mediocrity. Nova has the ball inside the 15 with mere seconds to go, and the kicker pulls a straight on FG attempt to the right and we head to overtime. Down by 3 on their first possession, the Orangemen go three and out inside the five TWICE! The first time they knotted the game at 20 and the second they run a fake field goal for the touchdown. Villanova comes back down the field to score. Then the Wildcats anger me by going for two instead of taking the sure tie and it fails horribly. Syracuse survives 27-26. These teams suck but how I have missed football THIS WAS AWESOME! Colorado is a sitting duck to any team with a decent offensive line and running back. They scored a beautiful touchdown off the games only turnover just to have CSU drive down their throats to keep the Buffs lead at 3. To the fourth we go....
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Whoa, Dee Hart is going off. Happy for him. Had the worst luck possible at Bama.
APO Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 McElwain giving Dee that big ass hug was awesome to see. So glad to see Dee getting a chance to show what he can do at CSU.

Yet part of me just wants to hate the kid for de-committing to Michigan in order to go to Bama in the first place.
hammerva Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Well that is weird apparently Penn State vs Central Florida decided to start at 8:30 this morning. I guess this is in another country because I have never heard of a game this early
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Yeah, apparently that volcano chilled out and the game in Ireland went off as planned. I still have no idea why they're playing over there. It made sense for Notre Dame.
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Paul Finebaum is sitting in his chair and his feet are dangling in the air about three feet off the ground.
bink_winkleman Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Stone Cold making picks on CGD. Corso told him he preferred Stunning Steve.
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 If this doesn't end with Stunners for everybody, something has gone terribly wrong.
Pete Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 At least someone tossing him beers from offstage somewhere.
hammerva Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 To be fair to Austin, I wouldn't go near Corso when he is shooting weapons. Blank or not blanks Damn over 450 yards passing from the Penn State QB Hackenburg. That is like half of season under Paterno
Raziel Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I'd excited about how good Michigan looked on that drive, but they're only playing Appalachian St.
Kuetsar Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 And we know how that can turn out And we know how that can turn out Just like every other season, its going to end in tears. . .
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 That Navy TD couldn't have been any closer to going either way. I told you guys Navy would put this new OSU quarterback to the test.
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Yep, just then he didn't even see the RB wide open in the flat for a 1st until it was too late and OSU has to punt it right back to Navy.
hammerva Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Seems weird to hear Verne and Gary doing a Ohio State/Navy game on the CBS Network after years of seeing them do the best games in college football And a really good Ohio State drive ends on a terrible INT. Braxton Miller this guy isn't
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 And now he throws a garbage interception down at the goalline to kill OSU's drive.
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Seems weird to hear Verne and Gary doing a Ohio State/Navy game on the CBS Network after years of seeing them do the best games in college football I don't know what kind of ratings US Open tennis is pulling down these days, but I bet CBS wishes they could air this game instead.
EVA Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Virginia is giving UCLA hell, too. Making supposed Heisman contender Hundley look bad so far.
