  2. Tuesday was still a bit on the safe side due to the lat, but I did what I could. Standing barbell OHP with sets of 5 with 110, 121, 132, 143 and 148,5, then 4 with 154 and one momentum assisted rep with 159,5. Used the 159,5 to do reverse grip curls for sets of 15 and 12, then did a set of normal barbell curls with 110. After this, I did a couple of sets of dumbell curls on the Scott bench with 53 and 57 for 7 reps with each hand for both sets. Plenty of ab work at the end. Yesterday was a quick leg day with the top set being 7x423 on the squat machine. I was impressed how low the last few reps went, as it got better towards the end. No knee wraps for that one, either! I was able to get 3-4 full reps in a row on the 200lb gripper with my right hand, still not happening on the left, though. Decent ab work yesterday as well.
  3. Must have been their tribute to the Sandman episode of Dark Side.
  4. Sounds like it took several minutes to cut Skye Blue out of the barbed wire. Insane spot.
  5. Another pretty great night of wrestling. I remain in favor of keeping with these 3 hour events, alternating Rampage from Collision to Dynamite like they've been doing lately has been highly enjoyable. Live Rampage will just always work better. Loved the show-closing angle just continuing on in to Rampage. Looking forward to the eventual Okada/Omega AEW showdown one day. Copeland/Buddy was a real good 20+ minute opener. Joe/Kassidy had an all time "Joe walks away from the dive" spot on Isiah's tope. Jericho/Shibata was fun. Serena/Mariah good stuff as expected. My favorite Excalibur line on Mariah's running knee strike "Check your calendar, cause it's gonna be MAY!". Didn't even realize at the time that was the Dynamite main event match. the Manitoba Massacre! was another in the classic hardcore women's matches. This ruled and the escalation of violence culminating in the barbed wire board was great stuff. Skye's definitely becoming an MVP of these type matches. Technically the women main evented both Dynamite and Rampage match-wise.

  7. For the Super Famicom, Data East released Fighter's History: Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu!!. In 1995. Mizoguchi became the main character. The story mode is a gag-adventure story that stars Mizoguchi. The game is both Karnov's Revenge/Fighter's History Dynamite for the Super Famicom and the 3rd fighting game in the series, but certain characters were omitted, but Chelnov from another Data East game, Atomic Runner Chelnov, was added. The game was released internationally in 2017 in the Data East Classic Collection for SNES. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the Fighter's History games gets an update in the future.
  8. Pachuca vs Columbus Crew in the ConcaChampions final. A really young Pachuca side with fixture congestion beat America, Columbus routing Monterrey in Mexico to clinch their respective tickets to the final.
  9. Got home in time to see Willow and Sky Blue and that was a lot of fun. Those two are my favorite women in AEW and would be high in my list of favorites period. Skye is really coming into her own lately and these hardcore matches have been fun showcases for her.
  10. Missed opportunity for a "Puck em up, Jericho, Puck em up" (clap clap) chant.
  11. I saw Shibata wrestle live. Fuck yeah what a night. And he got hit in the face with a hockey puck, puts all his New Japan matches in the trash
  12. I think the show ending angle tonight worked infinitely better than last week's. I also liked how the angle carried over into Rampage for about 15 minutes. Tony Schiavone had the line of the night, "We need to call the police, guys!"
  13. Things I Remember from tonight's episode of Dyna-page: This won't go in any sort of chronological order because it went 3+ hours I think that Rampage was sort of the afterparty tonight even if it had matches that looked good when I looked at the TV. The angle ending Dynamite was sorta predictable. Choose to believe what you want in regards to Kenny's ability to do anything without ending up in a hospital. It's Kenny Omega, so there's probably a strong chance that he's actually gonna try to wait out what he has. The Bucks as the evil overlords of the show is fucking lame and lazy booking. Although them cutting off Tony's intro was kinda fun. Chris Jericho is as lame as ever but they might be leaning into that. Feels like hitting someone with a bag filled with hockey pucks is how you assault someone in Canada Orange is all alone because Chuck Taylor is gone Swerve is now feuding with Christian Cage in a "tie up the strings from 8 months ago" feud Oh yeah, Brian Cage showed up and lost. Buddy Matthews vs Copeland looked fun I remember nothing about Joe/Kassidy Of all the nights, this was one of them.
  14. Enjoyed Mariah/Serena. And nice to see the concerned side come out of Toni. Skye Blue/Willow was awesome. Skye is so much more fun as the deranged heel.
  15. I just watched "Hendrie" the Phil Hendrie documentary. It's pretty great. I was laughing my ass off.
  16. To paraphrase Dark Man X "So? I love [Liv Morgan]. I'll never let her go."
  17. He's already in "it's fake news" mode. Yeah, whatever they say he did...he did that shit.
  18. We're talking about how everyone looks, but you know who looks really weird? Fonzie with teeth.
  19. Oh, David. Sorry to read this, mate. Love to you all xxx.
  20. Go Orlando! Or Cleveland! Who cares, as long as it goes 7.
  21. A few weeks ago, my friends and I had the pleasure of talking with Ray Lloyd, aka Glacier, about the movie The Unbreakable Bunch that hit select theaters on April 19th. Ray was extremely nice and just a joy to talk to. We're hoping to have him back on in a couple of months to talk his experiences in UWFi. https://spotifyanchor-web.app.link/e/F6GgGi05fJb
  22. Car got stolen again. Right when we were on track to sell/ pay off the Kia and get something new. Kick to the gut. Car recovered. 3am police are knocking on our door saying the found the car abandoned. A series of joy rides going from one stolen car to the next. Baby seat was thrown out of the car but found this time, just so much broken glass on it we might need to just get a new one and not risk hidden shards. My wife feels terrible, she forgot to put the club on, remembered, and then forgot again. Disappointed at first but I held my composure because she feels terrible and is really beating herself up. I told her the amount of mistakes and forgetfulness I make during the week it’s just a matter of when bad luck strikes. So we took today off and I called insurance and figuring everything out. Took lil Octopus to the park to end the day on a fun note. This will be another shitty couple of months.
