The Natural Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Looking forward to the main event. I had the first fight as the second best fight of 2011 behind Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard at UFC 125: Resolution.
Zero Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 An awesome card. Hope Chandler/Alvarez lives up to the hype. Gonna be hard to surpass that first fight. 2
epwar Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 There is an hour of Bellator countdown shows on tonight at 11pm EST.
TheVileOne Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I'll be there live. Can't wait to see Alvarez/Chandler 2.
RonL21 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I think this card stacks up pretty well against any card the UFC has put on this year and better than a good number of them.
JoshEngleman Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I think this card stacks up pretty well against any card the UFC has put on this year and better than a good number of them. Bjorn, is that you?
RonL21 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I lost a bet and had to say that. My debt is paid
epwar Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Yeah, this card is no Mousasi vs. Latifi or Teixeira vs. Bader. 1
epwar Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Bellator gets their biggest stage tonight and...delivers a lackluster show so far.
epwar Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Countdown to Bjorn Rebney announcing a 2-man tournament with King Mo in it?
TheVileOne Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Countdown to Bjorn Rebney announcing a 2-man tournament with King Mo in it? Newton gets injured and Mo gets the title shot against Vegh as the runner-up. Glad that Judo Gene LeBell is a judge tonight.
Jiji Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Well, at least the main event delivered. Fascinating fifth round. edit: wait, whut?... Edited November 3, 2013 by Swayze Express
epwar Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Fifth round was awesome. I actually had Alvarez winning 3 rounds to 2. Bjorn books the third fight right away.
epwar Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 BTW a guy on the UG caught Emanuel Newton at +1400 to win a decision.
OSJ Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Thank God we didn't have to see Tito and Hampage stink up the joint after what was easily FOTY. Oh yeah, EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE! Too bad for Curran that MMA fights don't go ten rounds, he might have got warmed up by then... 1
epwar Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 All three favorites in the title fights lost tonight. How often do you see that happen?
TheVileOne Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 How often do you see three title fights go to a decision on one card? Not since Strikeforce's last event on CBS.
Zero Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 In that gif Bjorn is actually nodding in displeasure with booing from crowd. Has their ever been a UFC card with 3 title fights even?
Elsalvajeloco Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 Clearly you weren't around for the legendary UFC 33 show that ended any hope of it ever happening again. 3
glfpunk Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 There was that ridiculously booked Strikeforce:Nashville show that had 3 title fights on the main card complete with a brawl and Dan Henderson displaying how awesome of a wrestler he is by letting a WW lay on him and control him for four rounds.
MGFanJay Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Not the greatest show, but the main event delivered. Thank God this thing wasn't on PPV though. It dragged on like the worst Raw shows, but at least had a massive ass-kicking. 1
