Ryan
Horangi is right. This is almost certainly him and I definitely suspected he was capable of everything in the article(it's more than just child porn) based on many years of interacting with him and talking with him personally. He had a very dark hidden side. I wasn't sure about posting this here, but now that it has been, I don't feel the burden to do so. Assuming this is 100% legit, I have nothing good to add. I know he went by Stuart McDermid as well, but name changing and aliases aren't a hard thing to do.

There was actually a point on PuroresuFan back in the day where he was looking for someone to regularly review Raw, and I was up for it and sent him a sample review. Very glad he didn't think my writing was good enough! Yeah, I didn’t mention that part because I felt like it would bury the lede, especially considering the investigation on his stalking/harassing his colleagues is what lead to the CP bust. But yeah, this is a mess no matter how you look at it.

He lived in Australia during a majority of him working on Puroresufan but he was from the UK originally and ended up moving back there. Obviously, Max was an internet name so his full name wasn't out there. It's for sure that Stuart as he messaged me back in 2016 on Twitter after Hayabusa passed away and his profile states he is the owner of the City Watch website which the article talks about. Ryan
In certain circumstances, Japan would probably try and find a way to make her the guilty party with the way some things go over there. I'll never figure that part of the culture out.

John E. Dynamite
Here's a big, difficult question. What are the best DDT shows, ever? Since Day 1 until today. Top-to-bottom big shows of exceptional quality. I'm looking for about five, with no preference to any performer or era.

Jiji
Kento vs. Suwama had a really fun finishing stretch but that building is death to atmosphere. The body of the match wasn't nearly as good but it was overall fun. Interestingly, on this week's flagship show, Lanza said Miyahara wrestles in a similar fashion to Kenny Omega. Beyond the knee spamming in the final third as an easy out/ultimate setup move, it's more the over the top theatrics (Miyahara is a bigger ham than Kenny Omega in some ways, Jesus Christ), similar selling, and match structure. That was a really good take because the obvious comparisons are Tanahashi and even Okada in how people respect Miyahara even though he's a cocky prick. Question: why does Miyahara always come out first despite being champion? Is it because the people cannot wait for that ridiculously awesome theme? Top-to-bottom big shows of exceptional quality. I'm looking for about five, with no preference to any performer or era. This is pretty hard, but I would recommend: DDG show from 2005 NEVER MIND 2007 DDG show from 2008 DDT MAX BUMP 2008 Ryogoku Peter Pan 2009 I think that's a good start to give you a proper feel of what a full DDT event is like, however it's pretty hard to compile a list of the best stuff as most of their old events aired on 1-hour Samurai! TV blocks with their Korakuen Hall shows usually being split into 2 episodes at times. The thing with DDT is the main events are usually great and that's what a lot of people solely watch and when they start watching the full events they are letdown as the rest of their cards are nowhere near the level of their main events. If you want a starting point as to where I'd recommend to start watching -- it would be around the time the Italian Four Horseman wrapped up the first time around and the hWo was formed with Dick Togo, Antonio "the Dragon" Honda and Shuji Ishikawa as Koo. That's when things really began to turn around for DDT. I personally began following DDT back in 2003 until around 2009 when they ran the Ryogoku Peter Pan show I mentioned. Watching MIKAMI and KUDO tear it up in the 2003 Differ Cup gave me the impression that was they way they were, but it wasn't the case. However, I still dug their stuff and watched a bunch with Poison Sawada JULIE and his Jakai Tensho faction, Shoichiro Ichimiya and his various impressions, plus the fun tags between Takashi Sasaki & GENTARO and KUDO & HERO! and MIKAMI and Tanomasaku Toba. Anyway, yeah, the hWo run is when DDT really began changing it's course for the more popularized version it is now, so that is definitely a good starting point to watch. Some of the better workers from DDT and guys I think you'll enjoy watching are: HERO! also known as HARASHIMA MIKAMI KUDO Yoshiaki Yago -- very underrated kickboxer who looked fantastic, but was only around from time to time. He also worked in CHIKARA in one of the tag team tournaments with KUDO and MIYAWAKI from K-DOJO. Daichi Kakimoto -- Jr. heavyweight version of Daisuke Sekimoto, but he retired young due to injuries I believe it was. Dick Togo -- of course. Antonio Honda Seiya Morohashi Kota Ibushi Hikaru Sato -- former Pancrase MMA fighter who transitioned well to MMA Shuji Ishikawa -- who was also known as Koo in the hWo I can go on and on, but yeah, I hope this gives you an idea. Forgot to mention -- the DDG shows are hybrid DDT and Dragon Gate joint shows. They are more serious shows and are a mix of both organizations and they are great. You may also want to check out MIKAMI's Cruiser Game shows which were serious shows that revolved around Jr. heavyweights and the Hard Hit shows were shoot style shows promoted and organized by DDT which are also great. John E. Dynamite
I only really watched with regularity during the Italian Four Horsemen -> hWo years, and remember Miyawaki and Yago rather well as I was big into CHIKARA at the time. I think HARASHIMA was winning all the time back then. For sure I remember the Koo reign, but not vividly. I vaguely remember Golden Lovers getting started, but definitely wasn't watching when Generico was champ for a spell - although I checked in on Campground Pro Wrestling later, cause who didn't. I certainly read about the Konosuke Takeshita run, but didn't watch much of it, and I was primed to check out more stuff late last year but they pulled the fuckin' rug out from under me on that Meiko reign. I really do prefer watching TV blocks or full events to just a collection of main-event epics. I like doofy undercard bullshit, gives me a chance to cook dinner and catch up on old PSP games, or whatever. Edited March 2, 2019 by John E. Guest Edwin
Yeah, if you don't mind the comedy and horrendous Hoshitango and Gorgeous Matsuno matches, then those shows I mentioned would be a good watch. DDT has always had a solid mix of great talent and comedy undercards. What I really want to revisit is the brief Ibushi and Kakimoto tag team run when Ibushi was still getting started and the Dieno vs. U-STYLE feud which I only saw a handful of. dragonzombie
NOAH ordered new aprons, rails, and outside ring mats. The posts and ropes are most likely the same as the old ones. The cutting down of big shows and K hall shows to 10 a year seems true. If this version of NOAH doesn't work, they will shut it down for good and would mark the end of the NOAH brand and Ledet could start up a new successor fed. Could see some leaving to make another fed not controlled by Ledet. But that's all what if.

Also, did they offer a time frame as to how long they plan on running this "new" Noah before they decide if it's a success or a failure? Also, digging through old Noah results on Cagematch, I found Brent Albright worked some tours for them in 2003 as Vinnie Valentino and some guy I've never heard of named Bull Schmitt worked some tours in 2003, too. Schmitt seems like a Harley Race student from WLW. I guess you can add those two names to the list of odd guys who worked for Noah through the years along with Erick Rowan, Ted DiBiase Jr. and Pitbull Gary Wolfe. Never seen Albright, Schmitt or Wolfe as they worked under card matches from the time period no one really watched any of those matches and just skipped straight to the upper card matches with the local crew.
