Cobra Commander Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 (edited) post-hair match Mascara Año 2000 has a real Vern Schillinger look to him. Edited June 4, 2019 by Cobra Commander
Cobra Commander Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 extra CMLL "this guy looks like" comparison: El Cholo looks like he splits his time between wrestling in CMLL openers and running a biker gang.
odessasteps Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 If I havent said it in a while, Leono coming out to the Hollies is one of my favorite "wha-?" things in CMLL.
Robert Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Everyone go watch Dragon Bane vs Fly Warrior from tonight: https://t.co/SwEzbLNC08 It's the semi-main before the Penta main event. The trios match right before it was also very good with Aramis/Eterno killing it as usual. But the singles above is just out of control insanity you won't even believe until you see it. Especially the finish.
Curt McGirt Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 How is Pirata Morgan these days? Is he working in a crusty, brawly LA Park style or is he all broken down (or both)?
thecubsfan Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Both is a good summary, but weighed much heavier towards the latter.
Robert Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Laredo Kid & Hijo Del Vikingo had the Mexico MOTY tonight. My personal MOTY as well. Absolutely fantastic match that people would be raving about if it weren't on an AAA twitch show few outside Mexico actually watch. I'm assuming it will make the rounds in the next couple days. Hopefully AAA capitalizes on it themselves before someone else does.

RIPPA Posted June 11, 2019 Author Posted June 11, 2019 Chavo Guerrero Jr is also affiliated with the group
maciej Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Saw this Wotan/Fly Star match from March in one of cubsfan's catchup posts and it seems very DVDVR to me: fun, bloody brawl with two guys who don't particularly care about their bodies and sell their dislike of each other and how much pain they're in quite well. Still only in double digit YouTube views, what a shame.
Curt McGirt Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 (edited) So where did that Lucha MOTYC go? Rippa's link in the other thread is dead. I want to watch it and the above match when I get home later. Oh, and like it needs to be said, but still... Fuck Del Rio. Edited June 12, 2019 by Curt McGirt
RIPPA Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 Right now its only on AAA Twitch feed - but you have to subscribe to their channel to watch it https://www.twitch.tv/videos/436885223?t=01h38m51s
Curt McGirt Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Haha subscribe to AAA? Yeah I'll take my chances with a Russian bot somewhere
ka-to Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 A different youtube link that worked came up when I Googled it an hour ago. Hell of a match.
RIPPA Posted June 13, 2019 Author Posted June 13, 2019 Konnan then confirmed on his podcast that AAA is blocking anyone from working for this fed because they (AAA) won't allow anyone to appear on a competing network
odessasteps Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Sam Adonis' show in Pittsburgh is being live streamed on lucha central tonight.

Curt McGirt Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 (edited) Thanks for the link. Match was awesome, full of some of the craziest and most graceful flying you'll see all year. One spot was too extended for its own good and they could have maybe done less kickouts but it still rocked the house. The announcers were marking out bigtime, too. Weird to see a square ring in AAA, and I wonder who Laredo Kid had to kill to get stars over his heart... EDIT: That Wotan/Star Fly match was a nice example of the flip side of the lucha coin. It might as well have taken place in Puerto Rico, such was the blood. Very pro-rudo fans and the building was neat with its double-tiered balcony. I'm surprised one of these maniacs didn't do a New Jack dive off one of them. Edited June 14, 2019 by Curt McGirt 1
Cobra Commander Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 not sure who has the most amusing name in the team of "Ciber The Main Man", "Gilbert El Boricua", and "The Chris".. it's like a trio of guys using their late 90s eFed names.
odessasteps Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 LGBT Night at Arena Mexico. They pushed their new exotico strong, including appearing with Sofia Alonso. 2
