Dolfan in NYC Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Apparently FIFA is hemming and hawing about giving the US, Mexico, AND Canada automatic bids for '26. Guessing since they're expanding to 48 teams, this shouldn't be that big a debate. Anyway, it's now officially summer. New thread! 1
Cristobal Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Don't see the problem with it. Even the most screwed up USMNT won't fail to make the top 6 in CONCACAF, so it's just Canada getting the host spot, really.
SirFozzie Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Dogs on the pitch can happen anywhere. KANGAROOS on the pitch, however, can happen only Australia. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/video/2018/jun/24/kangaroo-invades-pitch-at-football-match-in-canberra-video?CMP=share_btn_tw 1
Guest Edwin Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Despite the World Cup, there's been a ton of transfer movement in Serie A. Nainggolan to Inter Jorginho to Man City Santon to Roma Kluivert to Roma Perin to Juve Can to Juve Cancelo to Juve Buffon to PSG
odessasteps Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Hey look, MLS is back. Only took a 9 day break this year.
Dolfan in NYC Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 Curious about people's thoughts on this...
SirFozzie Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Sporting Lisbon continue to be in chaos, where half the team is trying to break their contract (after getting attacked by fans), and now, they've fired their manager, who was in the job for all of 9 days. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44637931
odessasteps Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Whoops. Put this in wrong thread originally. 2 1

Guest Edwin Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Rumors popped out of nowhere Gabi was done a week or so ago and so they were true. Sucks as I thought he had at least one more good season left in him with Atleti, but he got a big money offer from Al Sadd in Qatar and will be joining Xavi. Seeing our captain leave makes me Al Sadd. Godín was the vice-captain and Koke was the third and there's already talk Godín will take over as captain and Koke as the vice-captain.
Guest Edwin Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 The Cristiano rumors to Juve have picked up a lot of legs and this time it seems he may indeed be leaving Madrid... Wow. Also, the big Serie A clubs keep making the right moves. Inter have signed Argentine wonderboy Lautaro Martinez fron Racing.

Buying and selling players, pretty much. A lot of Roma's signings for example have been on the cheap and they have made a lot from their transfers.
sabremike Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Armas makes his first sub in the fucking 85th minute. Jesus fucking Christ we are fucked because our new coach is a fucking idiot.
sabremike Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Still 2-1 Metro for the season, 8-1 on aggregate #NYISRED
