Jiji
I'm sure ajpw edits will pop up at one point but it may take a while. I do wonder how many or if any at all of the pc edit makers will be converting their work for the ps4.

Jiji
Information is unclear but I think the NJPW DLC will have 50 new moves. World came with 57 new moves/taunts upon its original release/before all the patched-in moves.
Tromatagon
Kenny plays the game exactly like I do. Also I have a feeling that the rumors of a Jr. Heavyweight New Japan DLC are true. The people that are missing that people thought was due to rights reasons (IE Young Bucks and Liger) are in the brand new New Japan mobile game. Jiji
Yeah, pretty sure that was unofficially confirmed. The three dlc for ps4 (and pc but we also need to buy the njpw dlc) is management of the ring, NJPW Jr story mode with added wrestlers, and an unknown third pack. Here's hoping the third is a custom angle writer they hinted at on one of the streams that would make management mode next level. They are at least looking at options for converting edits from pc to ps4. Apparently qr codes can't handle the amount of data. Some perv asked about using a png (no idea how it works) that an ero game uses, so that could be a possibility. My guess is there will be no converter at least for the foreseeable future. There's also a logo editor for rings and such already in the game that they haven't unlocked.
Tromatagon
I plan on converting myself and my Pentagon over just having the laptop on while I'm on the PS4 and doing everything by hand.
SirFozzie
will PC version be updated to this? (probably but just curious)

Lamp, broken circa 1988
Good interview of the director at Crunchyroll. Most interesting part to hear was that Fire Pro Returns sold five times as much in the US as it did in Japan, which even accounting for the population size difference blows my mind. At least they got the message loud and clear that us idiots are out here willing to buy the game like two-four times just to prove a point.
Control
Wait, is there no Match Maker/Promoter mode in the game?
Lamp, broken circa 1988
Not yet, no. Had to divert all resources to getting the PS4 version out in time. They'll get back to it.
Control
This SADDENS me, as that’s my favourite part of the game, but I’ll stick with it for now.

Apparently Steam isn't particularly popular in Japan, which may account for a part of that. EDIT: Nevermind that would be for World, not Returns. Clearly I could use an early night tonight. Jiji
Well then, the Fire Pro Arena site owner, Tiger Sword, was arrested for transferring child pornography. Critical Club is the new board. Jesus Christ.

Wee Bey
https://www.play-asia.com/blog/2018/07/17/fire-pro-wrestling-world-dlcs/ Quote What are the Planned DLCs for Fire Pro Wrestling World? Spike Chunsoft’s professional Fire Pro Wrestling World has been launched almost a year now for PC. But now, it is time for the PS4 users to get into the ring and take down their opponents. The game will arrive on August 28 in NA and August 9 on Japan. So North American and Japanese PS4 fans, mark those dates now on your calendars. And recently, Spike Chunsoft has announced their plans for the DLC of Fire Pro Wrestling World. The company uncovered three post-launch DLC. Plus, they also revealed a new mode and two scenarios for the game. See the complete details below: DLC #1: “Fire Promoter” Mode Release Date: Fall 2018 Price: 2,160 yen The popular mode from previous Fire Pro games where players manage a pro wrestling organization returns called “Fire Promoter.” Launch an original organization all your own, hire wrestlers, train and strengthen them, collaborate with other organizations, put on shows, sell goods and more in this detailed pro wrestling organization management experience. DLC #2: “Junior Heavyweight Story” Release Date: Fall 2018 Price: 1,600 yen Experience the world of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Junior Heavyweight division from 2017 to 2018 in this new scenario. Accompanying the new scenario, many Junior Heavyweight wrestlers will appear. Wrestlers planned to appear to include: Jushin Thunder / Liger Tiger Mask IV Jado Will Ospreay SHO YOH Rocky Romero Barretta Yujiro Takahashi Dragon Lee and more! DLC #3: New Story Details will be announced at a later date.
Tromatagon
I wonder if Story 3 is going to be something a little more Bullet Club centered considering who is still missing.
Raziel
So, $20 for promoter mode, $15 for Juniors... Eh, I'm still getting it for PS4.
Tromatagon
Plus 15 or 20 for PC users for the New Japan content that comes with the PS4 version. I'll be buying everything to support this game, but not twice- probably just jumping over to PS4.
Jiji
Yeah, preordered the PS4 version and will get the DLC for both Steam and PS4. I don't think I'll play the PS4 edition much but I will support Fire Pro Wrestling always. Director has talked about plans for further support if he gets the budget from Spike Chunsoft, so hopefully it does well and we can continue to get more shit in this game. CMLL in Fire Pro would be fucking fantastic. ROH would be a thing. My guess is he would still like to add in a story creator addition for the promoter mode and it could be the third piece of DLC. He seemed very enthusiastic about it on the streams and I think Carlzilla said there may be some hidden files that hint towards that making it in the game eventually. He also was hyped and secretive about something he cannot share with the community but it's big. This was ages ago and I think he said it wasn't the NJPW partnership.
Lamp, broken circa 1988
I'll probably play a lot both because my plan is to do MOR on console. I don't want to make my PC save (approaching 100 original wrasslers) too messy with all the downloads, unless the release version has a DRASTICALLY redone set of menus for wrestlers/rings/refs/etc.

Critical Club is the new board. Jesus Christ. I was going to register an account at Critical Club - and may still - but I was really turned off by some of the comments about the situation ("Well, why does this have to affect our board, if he's not even convicted yet." That's only a slight paraphrase). I barely knew who Tiger Sword was and had no idea he owned the domain name and paid the bill, so I don't really associate him with Fire Pro. But.... it really seems like a last straw sorta thing. I was active on the Fire Pro Club boards for a long, long time. I wasn't very active on FPWArena but visited it enough to see new files fairly quickly. I used the site a bit when FPWorld went into early release, but lost interest fairly quickly. Lately, I've been surfing the site very occasionally but haven't kept up with the FPWorld news. Since I don't plan on buying a PS4 or playing the game some more on PC, it seems like a good time to get off the ride. There's also the whole thing about how long the mods and inner circle knew about this. The dude was arrested back in April; it just became widely know this week. Presumably the people running the site thought they should tell the community because the site went down a few days ago then mysteriously reappeared, but probably not for long and they decided it was time to migrate. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt but it seems a little naive to go all in on "everybody was completely ignorant" I am kinda curious about who paid the bill to get the site back up and why. Craig H
I have a giant credit on Steam from selling some rare Dota 2 item a year or more ago so I have no reason not to get the DLC on the PC. I'll probably wind up playing the PS4 version more though, so I'll also get the DLC on that too.
