Lazlo Woodbine
I agree he was shite, but the ref was so much better than the one in this Liverpool game.

Death From Above
There is now a very legitimate possibility that Everton will be the last English team standing in European competition. Fucking Everton.
Death From Above
Things have been ugly in this Feyenoord/Roma game. Looked like a Feyenoord fan through an inflatable banana at Gervinho. After Ljajic scored for Roma he and Gervinho then made a point of giving the fans extra shit which resulted in a brief shower of garbage. Hopefully that's the end of that. Victory is the best revenge.

AxB
Man City are not reviled (except by fans of Man U and Chelsea). Arsenal and Liverpool fans are too busy looking inward at "What's gone wrong with our team" to be casting jealous eyes City's way. Everyone else is in "Good for them (should have been us)" mode. They haven't won enough to be hated yet. They haven't played dirty enough, they haven't been arrogant enough.
Guest The Magnificent 7
Agree, but I would just say give it some more time. Early on I was happy for them because I remember when Paul Dickov was bursting the net up and down the divisions and they "deserved" (cue William Munny quote here) some success after living in the shadow of the hated Manchester United. Now, though, they are becoming one of the established clubs as the years tick by. Nature of the beast is all. Maybe the feeling in England is different and people still hate Leeds (outwith Leeds fans obviously), for example, but I'd love to see them back up at the top duking it out with the current top clubs. AxB
Yeah, I dunno who compiled that list Pete posted, but I'd assume it's someone who's a bit of a johnny-come-lately who thinks the last five years comprise the whole history of the game. Or got crossed up on which Manchester club is which, somehow.
Death From Above
From what I understand Red Bull Salzburg are despised domestically by a pretty fair chunk for their in-your-face commercialism and ignoring pre-Red Bull history at the club. Though, yeah, Austrian league, so it's not like any of us see it. I just read a lot of useless information.
