Deliberate infliction of injury confirmed as valid Football strategy.

Why would any team in the league now not just jump offside and blast the kicker in the knee on every field goal attempt?

Because not every officiating crew is under the influence of PCP like the one tonight. Or said team isn't facing the Bills.

Game currently delayed by injury and by somebody apparently attempting to take the 12th man thing literally

I guess if neither referee is sure of something they just assume the person scored. Normally 'breaking the goal line' is something they call immediately, not discuss for 10 seconds.

The NFL needs to make an example of these refs, and I say that not as a Bills fan, but as a football fan. . .

The problem is they will, but they're using the opposite meaning of "example".

Seattle never commits pass interference and apparently they never jump offsides either.

Now now, they definitely called Sherman offside when he Tonya Hardinged The Kicker.

Unabated, no less! (you know, the provision that prompts an immediate whistle ostensibly to prevent the offside player from hitting someone at football speed on a non-play and hurting them. :D )

Kudos to Buffalo for not jumping the line on the kneeldown to get after Wilson or something similar. Seriously.
