Grand Theft Auto V Talk.

We tried riding the tracks, with Traffic off so there'd be no trains, as an Off-Road. It finished like this:

Dubsta 6x6

Dubsta 6x6*

Sanchez (Modded)

Sanchez (Stock)

Sanchez (Stock)

Sandking DNF

* Although technically this one came third because Luke hits things while he's driving. But he was in second all of the way until he started crashing. Obviously this is a race without any tight corners though - what we really need is one of those mad uphill mountain races to be Sanchez vs 6x6. We haven't tested how well it climbs... if we try one of those river races that can only be done in a Sandking, and the 6x6 can do it (probably not because of the lack of elevation, but we'll see), then I'd say the Sandking was totally redundant.

Try that 4x4 test track over at Trevor's airfield. I think its a user-created race that Rockstar verified. I guarantee you the modded Sanchez runs circles around everything, provided it manages not to get run over - always an occupational hazard. I did that race yesterday with a fairly full lobby and jumped out in first and stayed there for three laps and was never threatened.

Like I said, I think the Sanchez is a superior racing machine - except for the running-over thing - because of how well it takes turns, and I betcha the 6x6 can't handle the deep water of the Sandking-only races - the Sandking dwarfs the 6x6. If you don't do many of those user-created Sandking-only races, then the Sandking may be redundant. I'd still take the 6x6 offroading first - try climbing Mount Chilliad. It can be done, of course, but all that power is a blessing and a curse when it comes to precision off-roading.

I'm going to try to take the 6x6 up the Mountain. But first, I'm taking the Panto to those ramps by the Airport. Might put the luggage on the roof to raise the centre of gravity first though.

I drove some random's Panto for about 5 seconds before he kicked me out of it (so I blew it up, screw him) and I think I managed to knock it on its side twice. I'd like to buy one and soup it up just to see what an incredible challenge it is getting from my garage to the middle of town.

Now THAT was a damn fine Freemode session. There were only two tanks, one got put down with a tremendous quickness by Mis and the other saw us plotting to take him out and - I kid you not - ran away from us. We were getting ready to bust him up bad, too - four of us on roofs getting ready to rain RPG hell down on him. I called a mugger and put out a bounty on him. He hightailed it out of town and my mugger still tracked him down.

I tend to struggle in Freemode sometimes, but this level 110-something called mercenaries on me unprovoked, so I hunted him down and killed him about eight straight times until he threw it in passive and got outta town. I was the fuckin' hammer tonight. SAY MY NAME!

We were warring with these two laggy guys, where they'd take ages to die after the killshot. One leaped around the corner (I think he'd tried to roll without aiming, hence jumping) straight into the path of my auto shotty, and he did the limp starfish pose, but my PS3 froze without saying if I'd killed him. Rebooted but couldn't get back to that session because it was full. So I soloed Coveted, found Luke and took our Pantos to the Airport.

He somehow managed to get three stars, then jumped into my car because his had no tyres (who doesn't buy Bulletproof tyres?). Then we hit a ramp and nudged a Police Helicopter into a wall. It was epic.

Bugger the 6x6, I'm taking the Panto to the mountain.

For a guy working on three hour's sleep, I am remarkably lucid right now.  That was fun!

I was equal parts bug and windshield last night.  Before you got online we were messing around the airport when suddenly we got reports of Mis being pinned down somewhere in Davis.  We rallied and got ourselves embroiled in a nice little firefight.  It was about even stevens until these guys started using glitches and going passive.  I suppose someone reported them because suddenly we got on a hot killing streak and they hightailed it to Sandy Shores.

I was about to call it a night when Melraz came online and we all flew up to Sandy Shorse in helis to settle the score. Once they all left, you came on and we continued the warfare with those guys in town.  Between free mode and the deathmatch loss to Rippa, Robert, and Dolfan, I ended up the night down a few kills, but that's life.

I think the high point of my evening was showing off the three whole phrases of conversational Japanese that I knew to a girl player from Tokyo that Mis and Damien Death tried to murder while doing Chemical Extraction.  I think her Pronto was the most adorably modded smart car I've ever seen.

We had so many people flood our session that I lost track of her gamer tag in my player queue before I could send a Friend Request.  Pity that.

If I am not passed out early this afternoon after work due to sleep deprivation, I think I am up for another round of They vs. We.

We have a dog and pony show for the Aussies today.

Speaking of dogs, I am dogsitting for my folks while they are gambling away my inheritance in Dover, Delaware and celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary.

I thought that no one could have a worse connection than me but there it is, my paren't shitty wireless router.

I believe I am going to hard-wire my console to my router from now on.

My K/D dropped from 1.43 to 1.41 yesterday, so I could stand to see some trigger time where I am killing and not getting snuffed.  I am probably going to devote some time to Free Mode tonight if the Night Shift is on early and I am not a zombie by the time ME3 Wednesday is concluded.

Since i can be frugal, i never wanted to spend $75 on a wireless adapter, so my 360 is hard wired. It is also next to the router.

The "foreign national" i am escorting is a repairman (with a MD alicense) repairing one of the vendor trailers.

Last night was a night of firsts since I won my first parachute race that was more than one person AND I finally got a K/D ratio above 2.0 in a deathmatch.

Granted it was the cheapest K/D ration ever (4:2) but it counted

FOX HEAD~!

Jstout has given to wearing a cat head mask.  I have to keep reminding myself that he is crew and that the rule prohibiting deliberate In-House Violence applies to everyone, especially my trigger happy ass.

I am shocked he hasn't gone full bore and gotten the Leopard Print skinny jeans, matching jacket, and the Elite Leopard sports shoes to go with his mask and the cat t-shirt.

I was too busy trying to earn SMG kills.  I should have gone with the Special Carbine and Auto Shotty against you guys.

I have had my 10-4 runs before in deathmatches.  It will happen again.

You no like-a da cat head? I'M THE CAT MAN, BABY~! No, I really dig just the mask and the shirt, along with some warmups. Trying to keep it simple.

I reconfigured my whole setup recently to hard-wire the Xbox and bypass the wireless router. I think it works much better that way.

Last night was the first night in ages that no one got the better of me all night long. There wasn't any passive mode roof climbers, not too many tanks, good company, General J.T. was in the house giving out orders to the troops. It was a fine night. I hate I missed the Titans, but they wouldn't appreciate me bringing my Xbox to work.

Cat mask is perfectly fine along with the cat t-shirt and the track pants.  I dig your particular gimmick. It is rather unsettling.  You look more like a character out of Manhunt than GTA.  :)

I think I am anti Fox Mask and anti Raccoon Mask by virtue of the number of idiots I have personally perished over the last two days that were wearing those particular masks.

I will probably end up going with a wired connection once I am back in my apartment.

Mark and I probably make up 900 of your 1000 player kills.

That one dude we were shooting late last night, right before you left near the pay and spray, the one who got my $9,000 bounty - can't remember his name - went from a racoon mask to a fox mask in the middle of us shooting him. I thought "do you really think that's gonna help you?"

He changed masks but still had the same clothes on as before and still had his real gamer tag hovering above his head and attached to his blip on your map... Oooooookayyyy.

These are the same guys that fall for the old Ignition Bomb in the Import / Export Car ploy and honestly belive that driving a miltary vehicle into Fort Zancudo will fool the garrison.
