RIPPA Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Holy shit is that season never ending Technically this was a season thing but it gives me something to put here Chris Paul become the player "furthest" into his career to start all 82 games (He did it in his 20th season) Paul is one of three players his age to do it (John Stockton and Michael Jordan are the other two) Five other players started all 82 games this season New York's Mikal Bridges, Minnesota's Jaden McDaniels, Houston's Jalen Green, Cleveland's Jarrett Allen and Paul's San Antonio teammate Harrison Barnes. Julian Champagnie played in 82 games for the Spurs too so the Spurs become the first team since the 2017-2018 Wolves to have at least three players play in every game Side Note - Paul is only the 11th player to reach 20 seasons. 1

You can't fire the roster (though KD is clearly getting traded this summer) Seriously though, when you've fired your third coach in as many years, it's probably time to admit you did a terrible job building your roster.

The crazy thing is that we all know who is the problem, but we also know that he's not going anywhere. Firing your coach and having to get rid of your best player because you're being held hostage by Bradley Beal and his contract is fucking crazy.

Dolfan in NYC Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Phoenix is going to offer Devin Booker a 2/150(!) extension.
RandomAct Posted April 16 Posted April 16 That dumb shit Nico Harrison managing to take a shit on Dirk Nowitzki after all this has put him at the top of the all time Mavs villain list. Say what you want about Mark Cuban, but he and Dirk spent 25 years building up good will with the Dallas fanbase, and Harrison and Dumont managed to piss it way in 3 months.
Contentious C Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Welcome to the off-season, Chicago. Enjoy being the dictionary definition of mediocre for the foreseeable future.
Brian Fowler Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Completely serious question; do Mavs fans even want to see Dallas win Friday and get the 8 seed?

Phoenix has no reason to tank, desperately needed to at least sneak in to the play-in and hopefully the playoffs. Dallas was DOA the moment AD got hurt, and buried the moment Kyrie did, and had plenty reason to tank at that point. Yet somehow Phoenix was just that damn bad. I can't explain it. But I feel like if I was a Dallas fan, I would just want this nightmare season to end. Probably would've been disappointed they made the play-in, more disappointed they won the first game, and low-key be kinda cheering for Memphis.

I feel bad for the Bulls: they finally decided to tear it down, traded DeRozan over the summer and Lavine at the deadline, and somehow Colby White suddenly starts looking like a borderline star the moment Lavine is gone and they end up right where they always are and now they have to decide if they should keep him and sign him to an extension and maybe get stuck right back here, or trade him now and risk him blossoming elsewhere into a full blown star.

Contentious C Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Whew, that new Tim McMahon article on ESPN really makes Nico Harrison sound like a total fucking idiot. Sorry, Mavs fans. Sounds like the Knicks benefitted from some of the staff shakeup in the process.
