Control
If this leads to Tamura in AJPW, I’m here for it.

Control
They’ve served their purpose! No need to keep either around, IMO. Would be nice to see a few tours with some novel teams.
dragonzombie
Looking forward to 2023. Most things going on now are setting up for that year and it is also the year covid restrictions orders by venue or companies may be lifted. i think AJPW may have the best ring now, would be lot better next year if there was no logos on the AJPW canvas. Few of the other promotions rings have adopted white canvas these past few years and other NJPW elements like boarders or even the moden fight turnbuckles style. Control
Wonder who All Japan will sign full-time in January? Based on who they’ve been booking, likely candidates seem to include Ren Ayabe, Oji Shiba, Seigo Tachibana, and Yusuke Kodama.
dragonzombie
I wish they resigned N.Nomura and book him to appear rarely and finish the other AJPW players off with his new super move.

Yeah, I’m disappointed he’s not booked for the big show. Dude should be back in the title mix. I do think that if COVID hadn’t scuffled things, he’d have been in the Oudou tournament finals.
Kropotkin's Beard
It does seem a little weird there's not a spot for Nomura on the Anniversary Show, definitely. I do hope he's recovered from COVID

dragonzombie
Great Muta may join United Empire. Could lead to nothing so whatever. While Tokyo Sports is kayfabey for certain wrestlers, they're still building up Jake Lee wrestling in NJPW.

Kropotkin's Beard
Absolutely horrible news about Joe. Really hope he can beat it again. Jake Lee has chosen Naoya Nomura to replace Joe as his Budokan opponent

dragonzombie
Keep in mind Covid restrictions Attendance figures for each Japanese organization, January to August 2022 1. New Japan: 170,199 2. Stardom: 53,196 3. Dragon Gate: 46,079 4. Noah: 34,097 5. DDT: 24,393 (19,502 + CF Fest: 4891) 6. All Japan: 21,090 7. Big Japan: 16,717 8. Tokyo Joshi: 14,364 9. Ice Ribbon: 9408 10. ZERO1: 9088 If it was up to me, I would added the cyberfest numbers to Noah instead because their belt mains the show and they're CyberFights main brand. Amount of Shows that several promotions had run this year NJPW - 139 Stardom - 77 Dragongate - 107 Noah - 60 DDT - 88 All Japan - 44 Big Japan - 94 Tokyo Joshi - 44 Ice Ribbon - 75 ZERO1 - 40
dragonzombie
NOAH and AJPW running less shows help with saving costs by not renting so many buildings, and helps their roster last longer healthwise.
assfax
Okay, this njpwworld billing on the first of the month shit has me scowling at my email in the dark. I had been thoroughly enjoying it since 8/17 but now I feel like this is some gotcha, porno website bullshit. I was planning on keeping the service but now I just feel bitchy and mean-spirited about 8 bucks even though I used to blow 20-30 on old time DVD bootleg sites like puroresudvds and IVP 19 years ago. I don't give a goddamn if there are 30 reddit threads about this explaining to only sign up on the 1st. I just wanted to listen to my radio, get lit to the bone and reconnect with puro. I ain't Silas Stingy but iffin I didn't clutch my coinpurse. Night Flight streaming was also fucky 5 years ago and I'm still holding a grudge. Same deal where service stops immediately at cancellation. Now I'll get back to scrutinizing a portion of Kengo Kimura's œuvre. I've also been loving double arm and side suplexes and every time Riki Choshu does a bodyslam. I also love that video what just came out on youtube compiling Tenryu kicking dudes in the head. Sakuraba in Noah is the drizzlin's. Fujiwara looked better a couple months ago. Fujiwara also didn't wear a t-shirt in the pool. Funaki has Eric Roberts hair. Obligatory "cop shit his pants" reference and we're done. 2

And of the 43, 7 were no audience streaming specials (two Club Ice Ribbon specials, and each match of Kiku's five match trial was it's own individual show). All things considered, ninth is pretty dang good!

Jiji
I was just asking about brother's health in one of the AEW threads. Heartbreaking. One of the best to ever do it and not many worked better in the moment with emotion and reactions specific to their circumstances. Kick out, Tenryu! Watching he and Fuyuki vs. Yatsu and Nakano from '91 right now.
