Oh God Dammit - I missed that i had unlocked my 12th Charm slot and I was a sliver away from being in the last Paragon block so I had to shoot Jeong in the head because I couldn't talk him down.

Irritating but fixable since I will be playing again before going into ME2

I have forgotten how much I hate the fucking reactor mission on Cyone.  Husks are a pain in the ass in open terrain, but the confines of the reactor map and the shitty barrier generators make things much worse.

I always have to reposition my folks to keep them from being overrun, because Marauders do not hesitate to gun down a squad mate wrestling with a Husk.

Dealing with the Brute is downright trivial now that I have Vega toss a grenade at the barrier generator in the reactor proper.  The feedback surge from the exploding barrier generator takes out the Husks, wounds the Maruauders, and then I just generate Fire Explosions off of Vega's Incendiary Rounds to take out the Brute and whomever is left.

Now that Tali is in tow, I am going to try to shotgun through Leviathan as quickly as possible.  Should be easier now that I know where everything is.

I cannot believe that one of the War Assets you get from Leviathan is skilled Vorcha labor.

Oh the days when Matriach Benezia was a challenge

Heck - the only things that have been a challenge for me was the 4th Geth Outpost (though nestled in the cul-de-sac that you have to fight through the bottle neck to beat the Colossus) and Rachni workers. The workers are just more a nuisance because I am sniping by default and those fuckers are impossible to snipe.

God I forgot how stupid the people at the ExoGeni facility are

"THANK GOD YOU SAVED OUR LIVES FROM THE THORIAN CREEPERS!!! Wait.. on second thought... YOU WONT TAKE US ALIVE!!!!"

I played a little bit through the Liara Dig Site mission after having not picked this up in a few months.

The Mako has to be one of the worst handling vehicles I've driven in awhile.

Also, why do squad members have to be such idiots that are willing to leap into death?

I have a party to throw...... again...

Repeat of Citadel goes the same way as last time.

I spent way too much money to get the mods from the Claw game, eventually got the timing to win Shattered Eezo, and use the "Oh well, It's a mod I don't even use," excuse to cover the sting of Relay Defense kicking my ass.

In Re:  The achievement for getting a score of 9999 on the Combat Sim:

Looking back at my previous playthrough, I can't believe I was really concerned about this. If you don't get a 9999+ run in the course of doing missions in the sim, you'll break the scoreboard while investigating the fatal error.

I forgot how hilarious the sidebar conversations were.  I've hard most of the snarky sidebar coversations making fun of my fellow multiplayer idiots (the conversation between the Vorcha and the Infiltrator concerning Crackguards / Veeloxguards is particularly funny), but must've missed the ones on the balcony of the casino.

I must be the only person in the universe that marked out when I heard Francis Kitt proposing a Krogan version of The Scottish Play.

Oh, yeah.  I totally cheated to get The One & Only achievement.

Ironically enough - my wife got this one before I did. In fact I was still perplexed until starting my ME playthrough again.

Was there anything else available in the Claw game besides music tracks? I did it like three times and then got bored.

I did totally forget how much I loved the Tower of Hanoi reference

And yes the party had a billion great things but yeah... when Shepard "supports friendship"... #1 and the best

I spent the last two weeks doing nothing but finish ME3. I could no longer avoid the internet and really wanted to see how it all played out. Fucking awesome game. I actually kinda liked the ending to be honest. Could have been longer though. I forgot how emotionally invested this series made me. I work in construction with 50 year old dudes and trying to explain that is fruitless and I should probably just keep that to myself.

If you are lucky enough to grab four orange orbs, you will get four mods.  You will also get a Volus plush toy from the first purple orb you grab.  You'll find it on the shelf near the wet bar back at your apartment once you get back to the crib.

Once you get the plush toy, the mods, and the music tracks, the orbs default to credit payouts.

And I totally laughed at Shep not wanting to play Tower of Hanoi, but I managed to manually repair the VI Core at Peak 15 in no time flat.  I like puzzle minigames in general because the solution is totally reliant on wits and patience.

You don't have to depend on equal parts reflexes and luck to get by like you do with Relay Defense or Shattered Eezo.  There is some pattern recognition in the solution, but beating the high score on those games is a matter of getting the right breaks at the right time and making a perfect run.

There is also a Tower of Hanoi inspired puzzle in Naga Sadow's tomb in KOTOR.  Bioware recycled that gimmick and there are some similarities in how both puzzles are solved..

Okay - 1st play through done. I'll start my 2nd round of the first game when I get back from my trip

Despite how rusty I was - this was my quickest run yet clocking in at just over 47 hours

What I am more pleased about is that I got my FemShep to Level 54 so I will finally be able to get a Shepard to Level 60 and get the achievement this time.

So...am I missing something or does the floating orb that sits on your coffee table in Mass Effect 2 go completely ignored in part 3?

I just assumed that the Alliance took possession of the artifact after Shepard turned himself in and eventually turned it over to the Council.

The punishment for Citadel races withholding Prothean artifacts from general study is pretty severe and I guess that even extends to ones that appear to be inert.

Speaking of cabin items, I think if you bothered to buy the Omega DLC you should be allowed to kick Traynor's ass at chess in that cutscene because you've been practicing with Petrovski's badass holo-set.

Provided that you complete Omega before challenging Traynor.

I did not give it too many attempts, but I am struggling with the section where you have to go on foot during the Liara mission. Your teammates think death is the best option, and I don't have sniper proficiency with Shep to take out the rocket or the sniper.

Are you talking about where you go down into the mine before finding Liara? Or while you are in the process of trying to free Liara?

If it is why you are still on the catwalks - and the geth our on the floor of the mine - you can use the catwalks for cover so you can hit them but they cant hit you. You use your powers and hopefully you have a squadmate proficient in sniping (ie: Garrus) but they can pick the people up that you are spamming your powers on.

Or are you talking even earlier when you get out of the Mako?

If that is the case - just use the boulders, get your squadmates to wait behind them and slowly but surely take the Geth down. Again - you can find spots where you can hit them but the rockets will hit the rocks so you can line up your shots better. Unfortunately, since it is earlier in the game its doubtful you were able to put enough into Sniper Rifles to make it so it doesn't seem like you are trying to boat a marlin. That being said - Assault Rifles and Pistols have insanely long range so you can just fire blind and still do enough damage.

Again - if you have Garrus that is a bonus because of his sniping and powers (overload, sabotage) are great against the Geth.

It's the third one, and I am running my squad with Tali/Ashley, which might be a mistake. I do know my next few levels will be focused on getting someone up to Unity and getting Shep's weapons capabilities increased. I have not played around with the abilities too much. I'm sure I'll figure it out tonight if I load it up. I'm also at a really low level (Level 9 I think).

Well having Tali is a plus because if you put points into AI Hacking - just have her Hack a Geth and let that one fight the other ones. Rinse repeat.

It will take a little longer but it's a big help in tight spots. I mean if nothing else - a Hacked Geth Rocket Trooper won't be shooting at you.

Alternating between Marksman and Barrier with Shep while directing the other two seemed to have done the trick. Once you have it down to that back row, you can basically charge in and clean house.  I did have to eat a med-gel or two.

God Dammit - I forgot how fucking annonying it is starting a 2nd game in Mass Effect is.

Yeah - it's great that I get all my points and I even get to reassign them for my squad mates.

But yeah... giving me 20 Level 1 weapons again meant spending 15 minutes converting to Omni-Gel just to be able to get new shit. And the Omni-gel was worthless since I was already at 999.

Also making me requip all my squad with their equipment was not cool.

Of course - I really have no one else to blame but myself for spending 5 minutes assigning points for Corporal Jenkins.
