Curt McGirt Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Nice to see a luchador named after one of my favorite Brazilian metal bands VULCANO 1

If you want an example of why people don't get into lucha, here you go: Multiple refs. Ring inactivity. Bullshit with the seconds. Lazy, bored-seeming work. Falls ending out of nowhere. It felt like all six guys (I'm counting the refs in this case) came here to get paid to not do much and then went home. I could be overstating the case, but I didn't like this match. EDIT: I think I can sum my opinion up with a phrase: mediocrity is poison. Edited September 7, 2019 by Curt McGirt 1
Curt McGirt Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) To make up for being a dick about that match, here's some Cassandro and something that has to be good. Oh, and hearing that Superstar promo cold out of nowhere playing on the other browser while I was looking for something to post was BALLER. Edited September 7, 2019 by Curt McGirt
MADCAP Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) Ronnie Garvin vs Black Bart for Mid-Atlantic title(1:14 into the video). Holy shit what a solid match this was. This might be the only match I’ve seen Bart look credible and well, he had to because Garvin was stretching the fuck out of him. https://youtu.be/U0H3eesOmgk Edited September 7, 2019 by MADCAP
Doragon Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) Fighting Strong Style vs Escalated Royal Road. Edited September 7, 2019 by D.Z 1
DEAN Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Goro Tsurumi is awesome in these matches. Ryama Go and Yatsu are added to the awesomeness of Killer Khan. 2
Doragon Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Cheerleader Melissa vs Makoto. AJP/AJPW 2011

Curt McGirt Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Muta needs to come in vs. Joey Janela in AEW. It's only been three years since that, right? He can still spit some stuff and only bump off his finish.
Doragon Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Genichiro Tenryu vs. Taichi Ishikari. AJPW 1
Jiji Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Tenryu leveling Taichi after raising his hand is great. Always loved those Tenryu banners. Are those considered sashimono or is there another terminology for the bigger ones? 1
Doragon Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Dr.Death Steve Williams vs Jinsei Shinzaki. AJPW. Clipped but the gorilla press throw to outside is insane.

Doragon Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Kazushi Miyamoto vs Genichiro Tenryu. Kazushi Miyamoto was supposed to be the Royal Road succcesor along with Taiyō Kea. But he left to form the defunct Kingsroad. Kojima tried to fill that spot. Eventually Suwama became the Royal Road Ace later on instead.
Jiji Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Was Super Astro proto Valiente in that he's a good high flyer despite being as thick as a brick shithouse? Is there footage of his mask match from '99 v. Villano III?
