I came in just in time to see Jacob squashing other guys and then... turned it back off.

Did have a conversation with a co-worker last night who asked another guy if he watches wrestling, I overhear and of course immediately pop up with "I do, you see Blood and Guts last week (duh, it was on Wednesday", he says "I only watch WWE". I say "No AEW? But that's where the good bloody stuff is." He says "The only guy I really like out of AEW is MJF". I say he just turned heel again which he was baffled by saying he was already a heel haha.

I'm not too up to date on WWE, following it loosely, but would it be wrong to say that the Street Profits deserve better than this?  I almost feel like tag team booking is worse under HHH than it was under Vince.

Not even close. The titles and division in general are featured regularly, even getting main event spots. They were much more of an afterthought when Vince was in charge the past 5-7 years. The issue is that its still not at the level it was in past eras, and it can be frustrating to see the best teams not always on top. They particularly like to give the belts more to factions than straight up teams. DIY only just won the belts earlier this month, and it already looks like they will lose them to the Bloodline. And not even to the actual tag team within the group.

Tag team wrestling is better off under HHH but ironically the Street Profits were better off under Vince. I hate to say it as it feels like summoning the worst discussions possible... but it hasn't exactly been a great time to be a male black wrestler in (main roster) WWE under the HHH regime even compared to Vince's time, has it. Lashley was sorta scaled back and dropped, Ricochet got his biannual bit of run but left, Street Profits have felt very lost in the shuffle, although TBF R-Truth is as always eternal. Kinda hope Carmelo can break through a bit as he's at least getting some tv time.

If the Street Profits got called up more recently than they probably would be pushed more Strongly. Everyone expected Ford to get pushed when they were filming that reality show or even during the release of it. Both Natty and TJ talk about how hard Dawkins is working on getting better and you can see it so it really sucks that they aren’t getting behind these guys anymore. They are pretty much the Ricochet of the tag team division. You put these guys out there to have exciting matches and ouch other teams over.

In the last.... six to twelve months of their Raw run Dawkins so very clearly hit a new gear as a wrestler (which makes sense as you assume he hears the talk about splitting Ford off to be a singles star) and he got like nothing for doing so. I think as a promotion you have to reward people who do stuff like that as it signals to everyone else that putting in the effort matters.
