Doragon Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Samurai TV's Breaking News! Battlemen will air its final episode today. It will be replaced with new show in April. There are other changes to Samurai, but I don't remember exactly what the changes are, just more shows ended. The Battlemen show started in 2011. Me, I skipped most of them. https://www.samurai-tv.com/pdf/schedule2404_ch600.pdf
Doragon Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Chance to bring back the All Asia tags to AJPW. Another one of those Onita matches. http://www.all-japan.co.jp/wp-new/【記者会見①】「ドリームパワーシリーズ2024」3-30大
The Natural Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Alex Coughlin retired. NSFW: Spoiler https://twitter.com/AlexCoughlin93/status/1771738988732199148 Bloody hell. I liked Alex Coughlin.
Evil Otto Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Very sad news to hear. I loved Coughlin. An absolute beast. I truly think he had limitless potential, and he was well on his way. That being said, being rational enough to realize how his debilitating injuries would impact his quality of life (or even worse, to be honest) and to make such an agonizing decision to finally let go of his dream is sad, yes, but far more than that, admirable. 1 1

Doragon Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 So for the first UJPW show, the following promotions are participating: NJPW, NOAH, DDT, BJW, DragonGate, and Stardom. Anyone remember the defunct Global Professional Wrestling Alliance? GPWA? I do.
Raziel Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 How will they decide who takes the fall between Umino and Kiyomiya?
Doragon Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 The booking of who goes over has changed again for promotional crossovers, when compared to the last 2 years. Back to more protecting again this year. Or even or sorta even wins totals for the promotions.

Doragon Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 Zero 1 Akitoshi Saito won the WHC. At age 58, he became the oldest World Heavyweight Champion.
Doragon Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 I dunno if that's real or just Tokyo Sports kayfabe stuff. I did read about Nakajima leaving AJPW? Probably heading to the west. Maybe.
Doragon Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 Ren Ayabe joined AJPW. Another tall man for AJPW. http://www.all-japan.co.jp/wp-new/綾部蓮選手入団のお知らせ Danji Tamura is now the manager of the All Japan Pro Wrestling Junior Wrestling Club.

Mr. Monday Morning Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 Alright well today was fun as I got to chalk off Korakuen from the bucket list and see a super fun DDT show (April Fool). I might honestly have preferred it to Sakura Genesis, the much more laid back and fun vibe was a treat. I'm not sure if they showed the pre-show match but there were some...interesting characters in there. Oh and Big Hash is the TRUTH 1
Doragon Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 The only eras I really miss is 90's NJPW and Mutoh Era AJPW.
lostinube Posted April 11, 2024 Author Posted April 11, 2024 Two more matches were added to the 5/6 All Together show: SANADA/KAI vs ZSJ/Chris Brookes KENOH vs Kosei Fujita
