Salads
Haven't been watching the tournament but saw a clip of the crowd going nuts for Tavion going over Kenoh so I assume he's doing something right.

I for sure thought he was better in the tag team with Jensen. I'd have liked to see those two stick together and do some work together in Japan.

dragonzombie
Kaito the ace of NOAH, is the first to hold the GHC Heavyweight championship while winning the N-1 Victory tournament. At least NOAH is attempting to keep pushing Kaito. There were lot of start and stop pushes in the old days with others in the past.

hammerva
If this doesn't get you all up in your feelings, I don't know what to tell you about yourself. The Murder Grandpa in his own Suzuki way trying to motivate his friend to get out of that wheelchair. And the really emotional part is that you can see that Takayama is legit trying but just can't.

Man, that's heartbreaking. Remember watching a Japanese documentary about Yoshihiro Takayama's paralysis and Minoru Suzuki was crying then. Sucks knowing what happened to Takayama. dragonzombie
Evolution is really only a one man band in AJPW now, the other evolution member Hikaru Sato rarely appears in AJPW these days with Suwama. I can't remember what happened to GOA but they're gone. And the unifed AJPW unti thing is done. The AJPW units these days are the Main Army, Hokuto Army, Saito Bros(now a unit) and ELPIDA. Anything exceeding the number 2.
dragonzombie
The NOAH units these days are ALL REBELLION, the NOAH Army, Team NOAH and the reformed RATELS. Stinger is only one dude. Of course there the freelancers, participating players and the other dudes belonging to other companies.
dragonzombie
GHC champion Kaito Kiyomiya (c) defeated Ricky Knight Jr. 4th defense so far. Masa Kitamiya isn he next challenger. All the defenses have been under 30 mins. AJPW doesn't really do Triple Crown defenses over 30 mins since after Kento's 5th reign, which ended in 19.06.2022. The only exception was the latest Yuma Aoyagi defense against Kento, all TC matches so far except that match recently have been under 30 mins. dragonzombie
I don't remember what happened to the REAL unit in NOAH, but the unit is done too. REAL unit member Hideki Suzuki hasn't wrestled for NOAH since 28 10 2023. And Taniguchi is in the main NOAH army again.
dragonzombie
NOAH New rookie Daiki Odashima debuted. Manabu Soya defeated Ulka Sasaki and won the GHC National. Kaito Kiyomiya defeated NJPW Fighter Ryohei Oiwa in Ryohei Oiwa's last NOAH match. Ryohei Oiwa will be going back to NJPW regularly.
dragonzombie
Masa Funaki will be returning to NOAH and teaming up with K Fujita to fight Josh Barnett Ulka Sasaki. On the same show Akitoshi Saito in his last Korakuen match, is teaming up with Akira and Shiro Koshinaka, his former Heisei Ishingun mates vs his Team NOAH friends. Horangi
Upcoming NJPW Ryogoku card is looking pretty stacked. Ramo2653
(This should probably be in the joshi forum) Whatever allowed Toni to evolve past her "I'm a good wrestler character" and unlock this is great. Not that everything thing she's done as "Timeless" has been good, but it hits waaaay more than not.

Not often I see a wrestling card and think I could watch all of it Royal Quest IV (or Royal Quest IIII if you believe the RevPro site when you buy tickets) has an interesting line up so far too. Fujita v Oku, Shota v Newman, Drilla v Tsuji, Tana/Ishii v TMDK, Shirakawa and AZM in a tag match and ZSJ v Sanada confirmed so far. Mascara Dorada and Titan are working Revpro Global Wars the day before so I'm hoping they'll show up too. It'll go out live on NJPW World this year I believe. I was going to compliment Tana on his predidential diplomacy on show, then twigged that he was calling out Kenny in the middle of it for not wanting to work with New Japan talent. Bucks v Tana and Kenny in 2024 after the G1 we've just had feels redundant.
