Doragon Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 (edited) Stardom The navigation bar is back on the Stardom website, so whatevero. Wasn't a big crowd today, 690 fans in Korakuen. Spoiler The Stars unit got destroyed in the end by EXV's Maika and Mina in the elimination tag. Mina cut a promo in ring again after the match. Giulia got a win over Tora. Elsalvajeloco Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 On 2/9/2024 at 11:39 AM, Elsalvajeloco said: Right. From a fan perspective, everyone thought Giulia would have a long reign. Add in the fact, right before Tam, they did an angle with probably the first legit bladejob/non hardway juice in Stardom history. Then, when she lost, folks went into conspiracy mode. However, that's after every thing probably cause folks (crazy ass Western fans) are trying to make up their own real life storylines. As for the Maya thing, I mean that match was pretty stiff but Giulia's whole title reign was just her beating the piss out of everyone and then her getting some in return. Now do I believe Giulia is mad or disgruntled? I think there might be some truth to that just cause I don't know if the Giulia vs. Everyone Who Felt Wronged By Her was the right way to go when she had the red belt (and afterwards) and it seems like her comments speak to that. They squandered away her title reign. Plus, while she held the Strong title, she apparently had a match with Risa Sera where they were on totally opposite pages in books in different libraries and she appeared to very pissed off. That though makes her just another perfectionist worker who feels like every match has to be ****+ or whatever. I don't know if all that makes her disgruntled necessarily. Okay, so in the Observer, it's being reported that Maya didn't want to the do the job and would only do a double countout. How does that make Giulia the bad guy in all this?

Doragon Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 She did stuff with a female fan, hanging out with the fan. I don't remember the fan's social media account name, starts with letter D, but personal stuff related to the other players were apparently leaked later too.
Elsalvajeloco Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Social interaction is not permitted under circumstances, apparently.
lostinube Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 C'mon man. 活動を休止 doesn't mean suspended as in a punishment. It just means "a suspension of activities" or a hiatus. Don't be clickbaity. 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 DZ being clickbait-y...no say it ain't so. 1
Ace Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Stardom's PPV was at 11:30 am in Korakuen Hall, so over here on the West Coast, it was like 5:30pm. Not much of note except Koguma's return and Spoiler Giulia retained the NJPW Strong belt over Natsuko Tora in a No DQ match. Not only did Giulia piledrive her through a table, she then used one half and broke it over Tora's head again, punching a hole through the table that took some effort to get off Tora. Tora also chopped off a bunch of Giulia's braids. The rookies really shined for the night as all their opponents gave them a lot.
Elsalvajeloco Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 They're definitely playing up Giulia leaving especially with Natsuko basically thanking her for coming to Stardom and then backstage saying she loved and respected Giulia. Also, Saya Iida got a nice little hematoma and a bloody nose thanks to a headbutt.
quackhell Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Headbutt spot aside that was a hell of a performance by Saya. She really tore it up with Chanyota. Her Ishii influence keeps becoming more and more apparent.
Elsalvajeloco Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 I don't think SLK is leaving Stardom cause after Ruaka and her faced Lluvia and La Jarochita, she shamelessly begged to come back to New Japan and be booked to tag with Despy. Gotta love when talent goes off script.

Doragon Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Stardom related Spoiler Mina lost. Mayu retained the IWGP Women's title. I wonder if they make Giulia vacate her Strong belt later, like Okada did with the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship.

Elsalvajeloco Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 In more Risa Sera has a death wish news, she over rotated taking a double arm suplex (it looked she almost did a 450 splash) and badly drove her head into the mat thus getting a concussion a few days ago. She plans on being back in the ring by 3/3. 1
Doragon Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 Giulia will leave Stardom in March https://www.tokyo-sports.co.jp/articles/-/293568
assfax Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 TJPW 2/24 HIMAWARI went next level. She did the Mr. Perfect hop-over neckbreaker. Dumped Mizuki like some hardcore elementary school recess fight. Dudes were working their asses off in that semi-final.
