1. I thought Ross' commentary on the Mid South DVD matches was fantastic. Usually when WWE adds in new commentary it's guys "looking back". Ross pretending he was calling it live was great stuff, I loved it. Shit, he WAS there at the time. 2. Hogan treating bad guys like they deserve to be treated was awesome. That's why he was so cool, at least up to around 88-89ish. The bad guys could fuck with lots of folks but not Hulk Hogan, who'd throw it back in their face. I always thought of it as: Hogan had been a heel for years. When he turned face in AWA he took on the mission of showing bad guys that he can use those tactics to defeat them and their evil ways. When did this whole "All heroes should be Prince Charming/ Paladins" thing happen? Good guys have always cheated to throw it back in the face of the bad guys. Especially in the WWWF/ WWF. When a good guy tag team does the whole "switch while the ref isn't looking" deal it's awesome and it's them giving the bad guys a taste of their own medicine.

Except he's not, as Cap has been a character based on representing all Americans and what's good about a country with people from all backgrounds who fights against stereotypical right wing shit for over 40 years. And Americans weren't warmongering during WW2. It took Pearl Harbor to get people behind entering the war and pull England out of the fire again.- 4,313 replies

Is this the two part British series from a couple of years ago? If so, I thought it was pretty damn good myself, and felt like a spiritual prequel to Hook in alot of ways. Yeah that's it. Found it on netflix and was hoping it was a series.

Y'all gotta hear Jim Breuer on Maron's WTF this week talking about SNL politics. Crazy shit.

I just caught the first episode of a show called "Neverland" that's a wild take on Peter Pan. I know the whole "serious adult version of fairy tales" thing is played out and is often awful, but this pretty fucking cool and fun.

#teamboogiewoogiepunk Seriously, I'm enjoying Punk doing the classic midcard "feud with a manager and his stable" deal. It should go on for years like Valiant/ Jones.

My mom was a huge Murder She Wrote fan, and I remember "coming up" with that serial killer idea back in the early 80's, telling her the idea, and her getting mad at me for being "sick".

This rules.

Punk came off as whiny and entitled then. He's far better now doing a Jimmy Valiant tribute act in the mid card.

I wasn't online at the time, my fantasy idea was Kevin Sullivan as higher power.

I've mentioned that I recently changed careers, and I'm now a pest control tech. Well, today I had to go take my exams to be certified in Colorado and I passed both in record time with great scores.

Holy shit, that gave me goosebumps.

I don't know. I think Shakespeare In Love is all in all a better overall movie than Ryan. How many people still talk about SiL? Since the movie got all the hub hub of their award season you almost never see it on TV and it's not exactly a movie people say is a must have for their Blu Ray collection. While you can't go a Memorial Day weekend without one of the cable channels re-airing SPR.Doesn't mean it's a better movie, though.

Two of my best friends back home in Jersey, Bobby and Erin, who've been together forever and got married a few years back, just had their first child two weeks back.. She's an adorable little thing named Cassidy. She was premature, and just got home from the hospital. Bobby had her room waiting for her.

Wild Bill Hickok, actually. And yeah, he was so awesome that even though I knew he was gonna be killed early, I was still upset and pissed when it happened.

My new job in pest control has a few cool perks. Apparently, a few weeks back, a Broncos season ticket holder got shit on by a pigeon and went to the media about it. Mile High/ Sports Authority Stadium is one of our accounts so we were called to take care of this situation. So one of my bosses and I got to spend our Thursday afternoon in an empty Mile High installing hardware cloth fencing in the pigeon area. It wasn't an easy job, as my boss was at the top of a ladder in a tight spot drilling the fencing into metal and I was measuring out and tin snipping sharp fencing on top of stadium seats. But it was fucking cool being there, seeing them get the place ready for Sunday and watching the parachute guys rehearse flying into the stadium, and I took the time to be a tourist and take some pictures.
