Meltzer's giving that main event at least 5 stars.... I agree with whomever said I was liking it up until the Canadian Destroyer on the floor... If there was anything EVER that should be treated like a Tombstone piledriver in Mexico, that would be it. Gargano should have done a stretcher job for that.

This. 100% this. The dialogue was freaking Shakespearean sometimes. I thought I was going nuts at first. Still a great send off to the show. It played the hits, gave us some closure the original finale lacked, and it was just nice to spend a few last hours with these characters.

As a joke I was kind of hoping the last shot of the series would be the Night King respawning somewhere in the north... post credits maybe. Just blue eyes shooting open and then the show cuts to black.

From a quick scan of cagematch.net it looks like Armageddon 2003 vs. Kane and Tripe H that went 19:30 is his longest...

Someone on YouTube needs to rescore that fight into a Holy Diver music video immediately.

Gravity is still the best use of 3D I've ever seen. The movie doesn't work nearly as well at home in 2D.

Has it ever come out why this season (and last) are so short? Seems HBO would want to milk it's cash cow more than this... the amount of subscriptions they are going to lose when this show ends has to be worrying them. I know so many people that only keep HBO for GOT.

Steiners vs. Sting/Luger from SuperBrawl I is another good one

Sometime in 2014 I stopped watching weekly... not sure about a last straw but it just got so stale and boring. I'll still watch some of the big PPVs or track down matches that are supposed to be great, but fuck watching 3 hours of RAW and 2 hours of SD a week. Nobody's got time for that. Still love me some NXT though. One hour of easy to digest wrestling per week is perfect.

If you want just the essentials I'd go with the matches below. Triple Crown: Toshiaki Kawada vs. © Mitsuharu Misawa (10/21/92) – Misawa makes his first Triple Crown defense against his partner. Triple Crown: Toshiaki Kawada vs. © Mitsuharu Misawa (07/29/93) – They finally bring the HATE here. Their first singles match with full on animosity. 1993 RWTL: Akira Taue & Toshiaki Kawada vs. Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa (12/03/93) – Best match of the feud up to this point. Sets the stage for the epic tags to come. Triple Crown: Toshiaki Kawada vs. © Mitsuharu Misawa (06/03/94) – Pure Art. One of the best matches you’ll ever see. World Tag Team Title: Akira Taue & Toshiaki Kawada vs. © Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa (06/09/95) – In my opinion the best men’s tag match of all time, with a finish that was literally years in the making. Epic storytelling that will likely never be equaled. You need to see the back-story for it to truly work it’s magic. The very definition of a must see match, with some of the greatest selling/visuals/storytelling in a wrestling match that have ever been filmed. Triple Crown: Toshiaki Kawada vs. © Mitsuharu Misawa (07/24/95) – Misawa looks to avenge his first pin fall loss to Kawada. Great, great fast paced match. This one doesn’t get enough love. 1996 RWTL Final: Jun Akiyama & Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Akira Taue & Toshiaki Kawada (12/06/96) – If 6/9/95 is the best men’s tag of all time, this is a close second. Kawada once again pins Misawa. A true classic all around. Y'all need to go see Mandy in a theater if you get a chance. Preferably drunk or high (if legal where you live of course...). It's quite the experience... not sure I can really compare it to much else. But I can't stop thinking about it.

Seriously everyone go watch this. Burt should get an Oscar nomination for it. He gives an incredible performance.
