Elsalvajeloco Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 The Dan Connor tenure with the Giants is basically over as he was placed on IR That is one hell of a fake injury Jerry Jones The victory was very much real though.
Josh Mann Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 If it comes down to a question of whether Clyde Gates caught the ball or didn't catch the ball, assume he didn't. And he didn't.
FireThunder Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Wait, holding on a 27 yard field goal? Yeesh.
pipGofern Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 If it comes down to a question of whether Clyde Gates caught the ball or didn't catch the ball, assume he didn't. And he didn't. Seeing as how most catches in the NFL are no longer officially ruled complete until the sun comes up the next morning, I'm surprised anybody completes more than a handful of passes nowadays.
muhammedboehm Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Gawd the color guy on NFL Network SUCKs...thank you for telling me that if a quarterback gets time in the pocket there going to be good at throwing the ball.

Death From Above Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Brady is getting absolutely no help out there. Geno looks perfectly competent, but isn't exactly playing with the pro bowl team either. Hard to see either team scoring more than 21 so far.
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 This game is a textbook example as to why you never pick a division game as your suicide pick. This game is only in halftime and it feels like it's been on for 78 days. 1
FireThunder Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 It really does. I almost fell asleep several times during the game.
Josh Mann Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I have the Pats D in my league. AKA the only reason I'm watching this game. 1
Josh Mann Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 The lesson learned at halftime: Even God hates Tedy Bruschi. 1
Death From Above Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Highlight of the game so far was MIchael Irvin's suit in the pregame. Dude has a great tailor.
Sublime Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Dobson would be a great wide receiver if we knew how to catch a ball.
pipGofern Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 If Brady doesn't punch Dobson before this game is over, Giselle will smack him with her Jimmy Choo after the game. 1
Death From Above Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Seriously there is no bad football even close to bad NFL football. I blame the commercials every 45 seconds.
pipGofern Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 As dirty as Rippa felt rooting for the Eagles on Sunday, I feel about 10x dirtier pulling for the Brewers to close out the Cardinals tonight. Edit: I guess this should go in the MLB folder. Stupid cross-sports references...
Josh Mann Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 It's too bad Russ Hodges isn't alive to announce that Aaron Dobson caught a pass.
elizium Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Lord am I getting tired of the announcers slobbering all over Edelman for these 5 yard catches he's making. This is also why I kind of hate fantasy football, it artificially inflates the value of a player's worth, due to either making one big catch (after dropping 3 or 4 earlier) or lots of shitty checkdown catches like Edelman. I'm not playing against him, but Edleman currently has 20 points in one of my leagues. At first glance it's like "Alright, 20 points!" until you realize how pathetically low that is when you factor in the 13 catches.

At first glance it's like "Alright, 20 points!" until you realize how pathetically low that is when you factor in the 13 catches. I had Rodgers last season and he threw like 400 yards, 2 tds. Romo threw for less, had 2 tds and 2 picks. They had roughly the same number of points. That was when I realised the scoring is done by idiots and never to take it seriously.
piranesi Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Saaaaaaanchezzzzzzzz Saaaaaaancheezzzzzzzzz Saaaaaaaaancheezzzzzzzzzzzz
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Piranesi is a male siren, leading us to our demise with his sweet tones.
Death From Above Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 As far as goofy assed fantasy scoring goes I like how giving up only 10 points, having 4 sacks, 3 interceptions, and a fumble recovery is worth all of 16 points. Which is totally the same thing as a running back having 100 yards and a touchdown.
Ryan Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Not being able to watch the game, is it fair to say Geno failed in the 4th or was the weather just that bad and they were all tips?
Death From Above Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Geno wasn't nearly as good in the second half, made a couple bad underthrows that got intercepted. His receivers really couldn't catch a cold most of the night though. Just a hideous number of drops too.
