Kuetsar Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I may be a minority on this, but the league really screwed up going to three days. Its way too anticlimatic. Its like they hired Vince to do it. "you know what? There's not enough entertainment with our sports!" Its really going on everywhere, but entertainment and sports should NEVER meet. No one does it well, including Vince and his committee of braying jackasses and especially not legit sports leagues. Don't try to be hip, or cool, or whatever the kids are calling it nowadays, just give me the damn event. . . . And get off my lawn(yeah I know how I sound)
EVA Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 So the Jets learned nothing from the last spread QB they drafted.
Kuetsar Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 So the Jets learned nothing from the last spread QB they drafted. Football wouldn't be any fun if they did. . .
hammerva Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 So the Jets learned nothing from the last spread QB they drafted. As much as I wanted Geno to succeed being a Mountaineer fan, I think Bryce Petty is much more seasoned as a QB to be labeled as just a "spread QB" . Definitely has a more accurate arm and that is something Geno isn't close to having so far

And get off my lawn(yeah I know how I sound) I get why they did it, with the first round being ridiculously long. But the draft was more fun when it was a two-day event. Three days is too much, and having one of those days being a late Friday makes little sense to me.
hammerva Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 So I guess Brett Hundley is to Aaron Rodgers what Aaron Rodgers was to Bret Favre.
FluffSnackwell Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Name one running back that was in his prime at 35. You got me there. I fudged on that a little. I still believe they could get enough out of Peterson to overlap how much longer the core of Romo/Dez is going to be together.
Kuetsar Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 GODDAMMIT Buffalo; the last thing they need is ANOTHER Fucking RB!
FluffSnackwell Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 So I guess Brett Hundley is to Aaron Rodgers what Aaron Rodgers was to Bret Favre. How long in the tooth was Favre when they drafted Matt Hasselbeck?
Kuetsar Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Among the many dozens of legitimate reasons I should never run an NFL team, is that I would work out a trade to Cleveland for the kid just to be a dick. . . http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2015/story/_/id/12803003/mom-devante-parker-miami-dolphins-draftee-rips-cleveland-browns

It's unnecessary. They have one of the best lines in football and a guy that ran for like five yards a carry last year already on the team. I hate to say it but there's really nothing special about Demarco. He was hard to bring down. Outside of that... They'll be fine leaving Peterson alone.
Hail Sabin Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Brett Hundley is more Aaron Brooks then Matt Hasselbeck.
RIPPA Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 No player from Tennessee drafted this. First time since 1963

I'm with you on DeMarco and the idea that they can by fine with some three-headed monster type deal like they did with Barbarian/Felix/Choice. Like I said earlier though about Randle that 5.0 YPC will go away once he's christened lead back; Felix bloody Jones averaged 8.9 and 5.9 YPC his first two seasons in the same role as Randle. Brett Hundley is more Aaron Brooks then Matt Hasselbeck. Yeah, but they still flipped that jabronie for a 3rd-rounder. If Hundley plays pretty in a few preseason games, the Packers can probably get a similar pick for him a few seasons from now as what they got for Brooks. Hundley's just a commodity the same way players always are when the Packers draft QB's they don't or won't need anytime soon.
Hail Sabin Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I'm hoping we turn Hundley into a draft pick in a few years because I don't want him to be our future starting QB. 1
elizium Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I'm hoping we turn Hundley into a draft pick in a few years because I don't want him to be our future starting QB. I assume that's the plan, the whole Patriots thing where you convince other teams your backup is worth a damn because of the system and who he plays behind. My guess is that the real future starter gets drafted in 2 or 3 years.

elizium Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Or Olivia Munn can hurry up and produce us a rightful heir.
Hail Sabin Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Or Olivia Munn can hurry up and produce us a rightful heir. Or we give Jordan Rodgers some Super-Solider Serum.
Vincey Greene Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Or Olivia Munn can hurry up and produce us a rightful heir. Is that generally part of bearding? I'm sure those crazy kids will in no time! 2
