Brian Fowler Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 Anyone care to guess what book I'm re-re-reading? 2
J.H. Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Supergirl/Batgirl versus Holographic Draculas is one of the best single issue stories of the modern comic era! James
odessasteps Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 If it wasnt spoilerific from this weeks book, there are 2 splash pages from YA 8 that should go here.
The Natural Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Good job starting this topic again, Brian. For me, the best Batman story of all time: 2
Lazlo Woodbine Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I'm many years out of the comics loop, but it's good to see Travis Charest is still the man.
odessasteps Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 From True Patriot anthology (out soon), by faith erin hicks. 1
odessasteps Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Why do you want to make people like me and Matt cry? 2

Bustronaut Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Coming soon to a theatre near you! Silver Samurai cuts Wolvie's ADAMANTIUM claws off! (movie spoiler)
Lazlo Woodbine Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 My childhood was well spent reading loads of 2000AD, looking at old issues now it's amazing how violent it is, it's great. And more comics/strips should be fully painted. 1
J.H. Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Hey my love of the Giffen 5 Years Later Legion is well documented here. I thin kthe real shame of Blok's death is that it wasn't necessary yet it was the perfect story hook (REVENGE!) to reunite the Legion. My dream of of the first 13 issues being collected will never happen. James
J.H. Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I always love when Spider-Man is put in these insane situations that put him so far over his head that when something amazing happens even he is stunned he's apart of it! 1
J.H. Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Seriously, can't Disney/Marvel just straight buy the rights to Rom from Parker Brothers/Hasbro already?
Bustronaut Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I always love when Spider-Man is put in these insane situations that put him so far over his head that when something amazing happens even he is stunned he's apart of it! Mommy, mommy why is that man peeing fire on a small wreath? 1
Swift Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 My childhood was well spent reading loads of 2000AD, looking at old issues now it's amazing how violent it is, it's great. And more comics/strips should be fully painted. I had this as a poster on my wall in my teenage years... 1
Brian Fowler Posted July 26, 2013 Author Posted July 26, 2013 Brubaker once told me on Twitter I'd be amazed at how often pitches for Rom come up at the Marvel retreats... SO FUCKING BUY HIM ALREADY MARVEL.
Brian Fowler Posted July 26, 2013 Author Posted July 26, 2013 God that was a perfect single issue. Man, Bendis was so fucking good at one point. 1
