RIPPA
God - the Battens fucking worked everywhere. I mean I could have specified just Battens in Puerto Rico but yeah - so much goodness. The whole version of that match (at least I think it was the whole version) was on Schneider Comp #20 (5:02:14) SSW - Beau James/K.C. Thunder vs. Batten Twins (5/12/01) Loser leaves town cage match which has an insane bump freak performance by the Battens, and really well done face work by James. Cool old school angle and match which really connects with the crowd. Great sad county music highlight video to say goodbye to the losers. And here are Randy Savage and David Schultz beating the shit out of them
Curt McGirt
That's another one of those Schneider comp matches I never got around to watching. Guess I better get on it

J.T.
Im trying to remember if the first time i saw them was in the crockett cup or somewhere else, maybe wccw? I first saw them in World Class, where they were the US Express and were the eternal punching bags whatever the tag-team du jour was in Skandor Akbar's stable. Devastation, Inc. Pete
Battens were fun babyfaces in WCCW doing the switches behind the ref's back.
