Brian Fowler Posted September 7, 2024 Author Posted September 7, 2024 Truthfully, Michigan ran the ball pretty decently today. The three running backs combined for 80 yards on 17 carries. If they could've kept running and didn't have to throw because of the score that's a solid job. The passing game is just a disaster and the defense hasn't been as good as expected so far (plus multiple short fields didn't help.)
hammerva Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Arkansas almost made the dumbest move of the week on the next to last play but luckily they escaped to get to OT
EVA Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Also worth noting that Gundy screwed up clock management on OKST’s last drive, which left Arkansas the seconds needed to NOT totally blow their final drive.
Log Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Watching the Jax State/Louisville game. Scott Steiner’s son plays for Jax. No word on if he’s a math major. 1
EVA Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 As it turns out, buying a bunch of good receivers did not, in fact, make Payton Thorne a better QB. Auburn down 21-7 to Cal in the 4th AT HOME.
EVA Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Notre Dame on the struggle bus with No. Illinois too, up just 14-13 and Leonard just tossed a horrible pick.
Craig H Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 My god Riley Leonard sucks so fucking much. This is the same shit as last week. Poor reads, poor decision making, incredibly inconsistent with where he’s throwing the ball when he’s not putting it into the numbers of a DB, and a mediocre runner.
EVA Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Auburn getting let off the hook with penalties majorly on this drive lol.

Pressure on 1st and 2nd to force 3rd and long and then....... sit back in zone 16 yards off the ball on 3rd and 12 with no pressure.
hammerva Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 (edited) Notre Dame. Dont ever change Not sure this is on level of getting crushed by Marshall but still great Edited September 7, 2024 by hammerva
Cobra Commander Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 did they add enough teams to the playoff to get Notre Dame in if they have a home loss to Northern freaking Illinois?
EVA Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 2 out of 3 years now ND has dropped a week 2 gimme game under Freeman.
Cobra Commander Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 turns out Notre Dame needs to stop scheduling MAC opponents and start scheduling even easier opposition 2

Maybe? But after this and after two weeks of seeing Riley eat a bag of dicks I think ND will end the season with 3 losses.

Leonard was always more endearingly scrappy than “good” at Duke. Thought it was weird ND made him a priority target this offseason. 1

EVA Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Iowa State wins El Assico! It IS a “Good Iowa State” year!
Brian Fowler Posted September 7, 2024 Author Posted September 7, 2024 Also, he had two surgeries on his ankle after transferring. That can't exactly have been helpful for him getting reps, being in peak shape, and possibly his ankle even having full range of motion. 1

Brian Fowler Posted September 8, 2024 Author Posted September 8, 2024 It's early, but Nebraska is off to a real good start against the Prime Time Buffaloes.
EVA Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Nebraska would’ve beaten them last year with even average QB play. No surprise they’re shellacking them with Raiola.
Tabe Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Notre Dame losing takes a lot of sting out of Michigan getting rolled.
