If you mean you compose a reply, hit 'Submit Reply' only to see you've been logged out, and cannot press the Back button to retrieve what you just wrote, then yeah that's happened to me quite a number of times over however long. I am guessing it times out once you stay on the same page.

I always figure if I lose a long post, it's the universe's way of telling me no one wanted to hear my bullshit anyway.

I've lost both long ones and like one sentence ones to that.

I usually then spend a week or two copying every reply I intend that's more than two or three sentences, have no issues, get out of the habit, and...

You can also lose entire 40-option polls this way. Multiple times. I'm writing my Secret Santo stuff in Google Docs thanks a bunch.

It's happened to me a few times.  This is typically what happens when the board just randomly decides to either gain or lose it's secure connection.

 

My suggestion is to use Firefox since it doesn't seem to have this issue.  But, your mileage blah blah blah....

Is this happening more regular or is it just me? Need to keep telling myself and others to copy your posts as it's so frustrating when they go.

seemed to go away then came back? Only seem to have this problem on my lap top
